Destroyed Jeans With Patches

I ran across these jeans, and I thought that they were super cute!! But I don't know if maybe I'm just having a bad sense of style at the moment, because they're $60 for jeans with holes in them and then little cherry etc. patchwork...
I know I should get them if I like them, but I don't want to get made fun of for wearing them.. ecspecially when they are $60!!

I think the jeans are cool. But I think that I will forever have my mothers words ringing in the back of my ears "why on earth are you paying money for ripped / soiled clothing??"
I suggest push those kind of thoughts to the back of your head and go get them if they will make you happy.

Yes, you know, in the notions department of any fabric store, there are bound to be more interesting patches...more suited to you particularly. As I happen to like cherries (even though they are trendy again at this moment), I'd wear them. Of course, if you are still school-age, you need to be ready for guys to make the same stupid cherry comment again and again.

Though I'd have a go at making my own first - tis a lot cheaper that way!

if it was me i would buy a cheaper pair of jeans and customise as people above have said you could buy your own patch which is more sutible to your personaltiy unless that is cherries are you could buy one of them.

and a cheese grater is very handy to create that distressed look!

whatever you choose wear em because you want to if people dont like em their probs jus jealous!

Yup, I love customizing jeans and it's really easy to do! I just made a pair and just ironed on a few heart patches and used jewel glue to put on star jewels in pretty patterns. You can buy the stuff at any fabric store for ten or twenty dollars, which is probably the mark-up on customized jeans anyways.

personally, i'd rip the cherries off the *** and the strawberry? off the front and call it a day. i like the skull or alien thing, i like the distressing and these are relatively cheap for distressed jeans (pdc rippers, tr destroyed joeys, joes socialites in cobain, etc are all around $200)
