Boyfriend Jeans

Thanks guys!

I purchased these

They are Levi's and are on sale now for $30!!

I am usually a size 25-26. I got the smallest size in men's which is a 28. And the belt helps hold them up. Fits great!

Mhhh ahhh I think Current/Elliott has the perfect pair:

I'm size 24 women's and haven't found any bfs that work for me yet, all of them are so big! Any recs?

I think I'm going crazy because....

why is everybody here looking/posting Women's "boyfriend cut" Jeans? When in order to find Boyfriend cut jeans, all you have to do is wear Men's Jeans.

Because 95% of the pictures shown (imo) are not "boyfriend jeans". And that other 5% of the pictures that are actually "boyfriend jeans" are men's jeans.

^^ The problem is that it's hard to find men's jeans small enough to fit girls. It's easier to find girl's 'boyfriend style' jeans and wear an oversized pair.

I don't really like them too baggy (esp in the crotch area) but I love the look of slightly faded boyfriend jeans. I had a pair from Gap when they did them last season, but they weren't really flattering on my hips. I think the look of loose skinny jeans can look somewhat better and boyfriend-ish.

And I know some of you hate this look, but I really like the "pegged and rolled" distressed boyfriend jeans look, a la Rachel Bilson or Katie Holmes. :ninja:

strawberryminou, you're wearing them perfectly! So great with a brown belt and white tee.

I love that pegged look too so you are not alone. Im to small for mens jeans to so I think Im going to try on some extra large boys Levis & see what happens lol.

^ ^_^ let us know how it goes Tiffany!

Well today I got some mens jeans from target. They're slightly high waisted so it's a little weird feeling but they're pretty slim. I'll probably try a DIY distressing technique to them.

They were ok... but Im still looking. Im going to try some mens jeans at Targets... they have some that are little smaller in the waist. I wear a 2 or 25 US so its really hard to find mens that arent huge & I dont want to spend alot of money.... any ideas?

^^Tiffany, maybe try levis 501's for women. They come in smaller sizes then the mens, and fit way better then the mens do. I bought some ladies 501's and LOOOOVE them. I sized up 2 from my normal jean size of 27 and they are perfectly loose without giving you a saggy looking behind. They worked well for me, and you can get them cheap most times.

tangerine what name would you give to this pant for men's, just a regular jean would work? b.c men's jeans can be categorized into tapered, bootcut, relaxed, what would you hypothesize would work best? thanks:flower:

Definitely go with a bootcut. Going with tapered or relaxed, they'll be far to big/small in different areas because they are, after all, made for men. But stick with a bootcut and you should be alright.:D

^ Welcome to tFS Sarah!! :flower:

I'm always tempted to try on Gap's low rise straight fit for men in a light wash, but I work there and I don't want any making fun of for trying em! haha

Thanks everyone. I tryed the 501's today but the sizing just wasnt working for me so I tryed the 514 style per SA recommendation & they worked great! I didnt get them yet but I think Im going to... they were perfect.

I was going them today but decided to check Goodwill first lol. Well I found a pair at there... Gap Boyfriend cut & for only $6.00!! SO happy!

i love the whole victoria beckham and katie holmes wearing boyfriend jeans. love it, its so hot!

tiffany, that's amazing!

yea, i've been looking for a pair, too, but so such luck :(

Tiffany7...i was going to say the same thing about the levis. i just got a pair of the 514's (mens) and they are perfect! the rise is much lower than the 501's and the leg is easy to cuff. e*bay has a bunch. :)
