 That cracked me up when I saw it yesterday! Truly a joke. It should be posted in the "Pointless Designer Accessories" thread.

seems everyone has a thing for scooter?? Especially now with Prada's new Fur helmet for your scooter..(which I thought was a novel idea.. and I love it and hate it at the samem time...)

I digress...

eww on the prada helmets:sick:

any info on DH suits, has the quality downgraded as well from the last seasons? or are they still worth it?

hi :)
i have some questions concertning the dior raw jeans, i would like to order them by phone, because they are pretty not expensive (well, i mean ~190 euros is not expensive compared to other dior stuff, but it is exactly the apc jeans, so it's expensive for what you really get... but come on, it's dior)
Are they really short? i mean in the runway/ad they don't cover the shoes, but i have seen pictures (e.g here) they seems bootcut? so
second question, what is really the dirrefence between the 18cm and the 21 cm? only the leg opening size? or is the 21 cm entirely looser (sp? more loose)
end the, the dior raw jean sold in eluxury seems different, the others are dark blue, this one is very very dark. is it a different jean, and the picture is misleading (won't be the first time on elux).
thankies :flower:

They are not as short as the runway pictures. I am not sure the exact length, as I have never sat down and measured mine, but they bunch as the ankle. The are certainly not bootcut, they just bunch.

The difference between 19 cm and 21 cm is just the width of the leg. 21 cm would be looser than 19 cm. I was looking on brownsfashion, and apparently there is a "slim leg" available as well, but I am not farmiliar with these.

There are two versions of the raw denim. One being black with black stitching, and the other being dark blue with a mustard stiching (Which I prefer). The picture on eluxury is no longer up, but I am almost certain they were of the blue/mustard.

Here are some pics

hope that helps :)

hi.

this is a dumb question, so i apologize in advance but can anyone tell me how much dior homme cologne retails for? And is there a place online that sells it that will ship to the US?

thanks.

Seeing Double is right. The ones on eluxury were the dark blue (raw denim) ones with the mustard stitchwork.

(sorry but please, give me also the references, written on the inner tag, i need them to order via the Galleries Lafayettes corner)

I am not farmiliar with Levis, but if they fit fairly true to size, then I would reccomend a 27. If you want a tight fit go for 19 cm, or "slim leg" (which I am guessing is slimmer than 19 cm...anyone wanna help me out on this). The picture doesn't look like the fit you are going to get with the raw denim. Yes, the leg will be tight as in the picture, but they will be far longer, and as I said before, they will bunch at the ankle, even when sitting down.

wish there were a dior homme store in south france :p
anyway, thanks for your answers, i will wait for the references (and maybe a picture) and then will call the dior corner

is it me or has it become embarrassing to wear dior of late. my black high-tops from strip are the only thing(s) i can wear without painting my face red. i have sourced my humiliation to two proverbial factors: 1. the fatso's -- im sick of seeing portly, talk show hosts wearing the sh*t. dior has always garnered some static for its ultra thin silhouettes and gaunt 15 year old models but thats what made it wearable. size 40 middled aged men can't pull it off ever. 2. the knock-offs -- why is it that every slightly thin kid with an average hair cut has convinced themselves theyre tell carlson. only, they spend all their money on surfing, so when it comes to the desired dior look they cop out and buy a pair of air forces and some nudie jeans. obviously dior has its influences, so it may seem ironic to call the influence the fake ---thats not what im doing; im calling the stupid f*cking kid the fake.

LOL, so much whiny rage... you have no-one to blame but the people at Dior for 'fat people' wearing the clothes.

i understand they have to meet some demands on a commercial level. what i cant understand is how delusional some people are -- theyre worse than the 40 year old single mothers who keg-stand fantacy tan. what happened to buying a red convertable. phil collins is still the sh*t.

Errr. Bad example, Nudie jeans + AF1 = whole different look. It has nothing to do with Dior and Nudies are pretty much in the same price range (and higher quality denim/construction to boot!) than Dior. Nudies come in a wide variety of styles, only two models being tappered (slim kim and thin finn if I remember correctly). Maybe you should give the kids more respect, keep the scorn for the talk show hosts :D

haha...well I for one am 16, thin, and have longer hair (if that is what is meant by an "average" haircut...you'll have to elaborate) but I most certainly don't spend all my money on surfing. I appriceate the clothing that I buy, and I definitely do not "cop out" and buy AF1 and nudies. I don't wear fakes either.^_^

You're on the right track. With the current season raw denim jeans, if i'm not mistaken, the 19cm hem width actually measures 19cm, and the 21cm exactly measures 21cm.

This is a contrast to older jean staples of the collections, say, the classic black distressed jeans where a 19cm hem cut may actually be 17/17.5cm, and a 21cm hem, actually 19cm or so.

So, the 'slim leg' version should be that of the typically 'tight' Dior Homme jean look, i'm guessing around 17/18cm? Hope this sort of helps.

Julien Sorel; I concur.
