i talked to a guy in the dior store, and he said the inseam of 06s/s jeans are not shorter. so they come in normal length. about 36 inches

so they are not like the collection.

that really sucks...

^I am glad they are not...I can just imagine some of the looks that would come out of that length of trouser. Dior probably would have sold barely any as well if the leg had been that length. You could always get them hemmed...

And thanks doo888 for the info :)

Just imagine what a mess it'd be if they did come short. They'd be too long or too short for almost everyone. People would either be out of luck or have to get them hemmed anyway.

Hi there,

I was wondering if you anyone could confirm the authenticity of this necklace:

*no ebay links please*
I reckon it may well be fake...

Thanks.

is it me or has it become embarrassing to wear dior of late. my black high-tops from strip are the only thing(s) i can wear without painting my face red. i have sourced my humiliation to two proverbial factors: 1. the fatso's -- im sick of seeing portly, talk show hosts wearing the sh*t. dior has always garnered some static for its ultra thin silhouettes and gaunt 15 year old models but thats what made it wearable. size 40 middled aged men can't pull it off ever. 2. the knock-offs -- why is it that every slightly thin kid with an average hair cut has convinced themselves theyre tell carlson. only, they spend all their money on surfing, so when it comes to the desired dior look they cop out and buy a pair of air forces and some nudie jeans. obviously dior has its influences, so it may seem ironic to call the influence the fake ---thats not what im doing; im calling the stupid f*cking kid the fake.
i. If Dior was to survive from the sale of their clothes to 15 year olds with rich mommy and daddy, that wouldn't fly.
ii. Those wearing Dior size 40 can't pull "the look" anyway and typically stay away from the daring pieces (usually the intersting one anyway) so there's still room to breathe here.
iii. If Dior's so popular the kids everywhere are emulating it, then it's time to change.
iv. If you think about it 99.9% of the World is a horror so "try to look at the stars while in the gutter" as they say :)

where in the uk i can get dh stuffs?

btw, im lookin for a pair of dh waxed jeans, is it still possible?

dior homme

I'm wondering if Dior Homme produce "normal" blue denim jeans, that is, ones without embellishments (cat's claws, dog's paws, waxed, blasted, holes, sandpapered etc etc - you get the drift) as I like to wear jeans that don't date a few years from now. Why Dior? I'm on the skinny side and found that Dior's jeans fits perfectly around the waist and legs - and comfortable too. No other labels comes close except maybe APC or Tsubi.

You'll pretty much have to head down to London - Browns (South Molton Street), Selfridges (Oxford Street), Harrods (Brompton Road) and the Pineal Eye (Broadwick Street) all stock Dior Homme. Selfridges and Harrods have the largest ranges of stock.

As for waxed jeans, I should think ebay would be the best place to find a pair. Still not cheap though.

why is the new brut denim jeans so much cheaper?
They're just raw denim jeans. They're cheaper because now there's like a thousand f*cking people like, "OMG, where can I get these cheaper Dior Homme jeans?! Hawt item!!!!"

And supposedly, the raw denims have been cheaper than this before, so...

AND you could just get some older season raw denims on eBay for even cheaper and probably better quality. I've seen them go for under $200 in multiple instances.

Off topic, but FYI :
This guy's called Raphaël, a recent sucessful French artist/singer, and I believe he's sitting next to Mademoiselle Agnès (French fashion journalist) and Amira Casar (French comedian/actress)...

Errr. Bad example, Nudie jeans + AF1 = whole different look. It has nothing to do with Dior and Nudies are pretty much in the same price range (and higher quality denim/construction to boot!) than Dior. Nudies come in a wide variety of styles, only two models being tappered (slim kim and thin finn if I remember correctly). Maybe you should give the kids more respect, keep the scorn for the talk show hosts :D

i didnt mean to imply that there is any direct connection between nudie/nike and dior, i understand that both nudie and nike come in a wide variety of styles. i also understand fashion thrives off cheaper/more expensive alternatives blah blah blah. Furthermore, i understand that alot of hedi's inspiration comes from young berlin/british skateboarders who have long been into the whole AF1/dunk low/half cab scene -- these arent the kids i want to strangle with piano wire; im not calling every kid with a pair of nudie jeans a poser. i was refering to the kids who openely and obviously have latched onto the dior hype mainly because (from what i gather) they think they are dior models and they exersise this delusion by buying cheaper, dumber alternatives. they do exist and they are multiplying like cells in mitosis.

haha...well I for one am 16, thin, and have longer hair (if that is what is meant by an "average" haircut...you'll have to elaborate) but I most certainly don't spend all my money on surfing. I appriceate the clothing that I buy, and I definitely do not "cop out" and buy AF1 and nudies. I don't wear fakes either.

"appreciate" is the operative word. im 17 and look like i shoot herione through my teeth too, but i dont let that taint my appreciation for the actual clothes. im just a little sick of always hearing 'dior style jacket'...or 'i found the exact same stuff in a thrift store' etc etc. it bothers me, thats all -- obviously at the end of the day people can do what ever they want.

Hi, some people on the MSN forum have had problems with this style of necklace from that seller. Many have said they are fake. I believe this seller is actually based in China but lists as being from the UK.
