You should have asked before :) They used to stock nearly all the pins from Reflection, and for a while I was tempted but could not justify spending 1500usd to get that "look" ..

Actually, I bought my first ring the other day. It was only £153, thought it would be much more. So now I want the other ring as well!

Yes about 3-4 months ago I saw that they had 2 pins from reflection, never knew they had more before. When I saw them, they had the CD initials one and one black-white one. Since there was only two it would have made for a pretty sad arrangement. Anyways I would LOVE to have at least 5 different pins from the collection but what can you do... I am sure all the pins are owned by only a few number of people and never worn because of the damage they could do to a $1000 DH blazer. But prove me wrong guys and post some pics of the pins if you do own and wear them!

In the meantime - fashionken.. karma?? :innocent:

Hi everyone :)
I'm thinking of changing my *truly* old bottega veneta wallet, and getting a dior homme if what i think i will do. I would like the dior classic one which is surprisingly cheap (something like 175 euros for the 9*11 cm) and not so logo-à-gogo when seen in person. What do you guys think of this line, is it resistant (i was told that the black tie ones are VERY fragile)
Thanks :) :flower:

I'm thinking about getting it too but if the quality is as bad as that of a lot of the clothes, I'm not going to waste my money on it... But it is really cool though. I want the messenger bag as well.

Happily, the dior website assures us of this "line's everlasting quality" :p
I was told that the dior homme classic line is made by goyard, which is very hard to believe though because i read they are "made in italy" (= dg's crappy quality). Anyway, 165 euros is not a big big amount, i've already mailed the galeries lafayette, but before ordering it, i'd appreciate some feedbacks from the tFS's people.

If you have the ones Harryx has, those aren't the same. Harryx's look like the lurex jeans. The ones on eBay are the glitter-treated jeans, although the guy used Diabro's pictures of the lurex ones also. Lurex is silver thread woven into the fabric...permanent. The glitter-treated ones are just glitter on the fabric, and it comes off. Also, the lurex jeans have that stripy wash.

I think I just posted this exact same thing on MSN yesterday or the day before.

In regards to the 'glittered' jeans; I believe the blue version only came with the lurex/lamé inter-threaded whilst the grey version only came in 'glitter treated' (ie, glued on). I don't recall ever seeing the blue denim with glued on glitter in stores?

Anyone able to verify, along with reference numbers?

I thought so, too. But I asked the seller if those were lurex, and he said they were just glitter treated, not lurex. So...

:woot: I'm soooooo happy!!! I never thought these Luster grey waxed 90% wool, 10% cashmere jeans would come along in my size, but I got them!!!!!!!!! Also got this Strip hoody. Sure has taken a long time to find an XS hoody that isn't a total piece of sh*t. Click pics to enlarge...

Wow, The pricing is all over the place at the moment

Gimmicky jackets will never sell at that price.

gimmickry and niche marketing

That fact that the music notes jacket is clearly marketed towards eccentric secondary school music teachers who already own the matching tie and make 25k fills me with perverse delight.

Does anyone have / know where to find pictures of the Solitaire, Red, Reflection and Follow Me collections? The subsequent ones are all on www.vogue.co.uk in case anyone was unaware.
