Very nice, Lee. So, there's no button closure except for the top fold over? It's always nice/more interesting to see the clothes on regular people rather than the idealized image of the runway.

that looks awesome lee! wish I'd have so much money right now to buy that coat...

Well, it used to be in European sizes, so 46 is equal to like 30/31 waist. I have a 28 waist now..so the jeans are huge on me

Oh sorry then, I thought I made a typo.

Lee posted the pictures faster than me.
In fact, I don't even have pictures of it yet.

Nice shots lee.... does the shoulder fit oddly on this jacket? I noticed that theres a "dimple" and that the shoulder itself looks padded. It's more distinct in the arm outstretched shot. Just wondering why the shoulder doesn't break smoothly.

Otherwise, it's a pretty nice, classic piece that will stand the test of time.

The photo of him standing up looks fine to me. With his arm stretched out I think we're just witnessing a natural affect of the stiff gabardine fabric and set in sleeve. The only way I think it could possibly look smooth (in that instance) was if it were raglan or sadle shoulder.

I saw this beautiful tweed bomber/parka jacket with multiple collar flap detail ar the Dior store today. It was lovely, but I don't know if I should get it. The 44 fits fine but the sleeves are a bit short and the 46 is just a tiny bit big on me. I don't know if I should spurlge on this jacket. It's around 1730, which is not too bad, but I'm also considering getting a La D diamond and croc watch so... I wish I could find a picture online but it's not shown on the runway...and only Dior seems to carry it, I didn't see it in Barneys or Saks today

NOICE!!!!!!!!!

i was thinking of getting that coat,
but i'm always hesitant of spending so much on something unless i get to try it on first to see how it looks on me. but you just about convinced me to get it:heart:
the reason i like it is because i honestly see myself wearing this coat 10 years from now, unlike some of the other DH stuff i own now, which would probably look odd on me when i start looking my age.

how does it feel?

Yea, i think he is right here, also im very small, the 44 may not be a perfect fit for me so i dont quite fill out the shoulders. Im also only 5ft 7 so that explaoms why the sleeves are abit on the long side.

As regards to the top, you can do it up like this:

There is a hidden button under the collar and a hook type thing to do it up right at the top.

Lee the coat luks awesome. I was in the DH shop in Paris but I think they dont have Winter collection. Soem T-shirt luks gr8! price around 170+

But I happened to know that they never have sale in DH in France!!!!
In Italy(Milano/Roma) they have same stuffs but much cheaper(was on sales think 60-70% off)!

I think it looks awful but maybe that's just me. That jacket resembles something from Columbia/North Face with some randomly placed buttons.

do u think the newer season models are wearing petite taile size cloth on the runways?

'Petite Taille' is a range intended for people with smaller build and is differently proportioned than the usual line - sleeves and body lengths are shorter, waistline higher and shoulders more petite... go figure it out, it's something that would work on a short person, ideally around 1,60m - 1,75m. It's very close to Helmut Lang's women's silhouette, if you want.

The labeltag for all of the samples at Dior Homme reads 46, but as all of the show samples are entirely tailor-made to fit the model, some tend to be smaller than others (the variation is most visible on the length of the sleeves, which might occur in bizzare fitting on pictures from LVR when another model tries on the clothing). The sizing roughly corresponds to a size 44 that has been made slimmer in some parts (especially sleeve width and leg opening).

How tall are you, tricotin, I mean 1,75 is NOT exactly short:shock:
