Fendi F/W 2002/03 : Rie Rasmussen by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott

For a reason I don’t know, Karl didn’t photographed the SS2002, FW2002 and SS2003 campaigns.
They were photographed by Mert and Marcus and styled by Katie Grand.

I really think they thought the Oyster would be their Saddle. It's a neat bag and fall 2002 is one of my fav Fendi collections

Exactly, ruined any sense of surprise anyone could have with the incessant need to promote products.
But mostly killed creativity because there’s this constant need to feed platforms with content. So everything has to be time-managed and efficient. It’s really hard to maintain standards.
And you can’t even hold on to big photographers either.

Smaller brands have maybe more room to express themselves but the big brands that are supposed to be the driving forces of the industry are hurting the most.

Today, every visual is a campaign. We see it even here on TFS where social media content gets posted as campaigns even though they will never be run in magazines.

All of that for campaigns that have a run of 2/3 months max!

I can’t even blame the creatives BTS for not being super creative.

SO TRUE. Everything from stories to reels- constant demand for a visual, it's over saturation; which is why many feel offline is the new luxury. Out of sheer exhaustion of visuals being stuffed down their throats and algorithm. Even when you're not a major brand or public figure, even regular people are feeling like they need a "personal brand" in order to appear like something.

Absolutely zero balance.
Like total suffocation, and creative fatigue for those churning the content at the houses/labels too.
