I posted my latest buys in the Secret Shopaholics thread. I'm afraid I'll be quite bored with them, but I kinda bought them just for the hell of it. I'll probably resell as soon as I finally find something really cool.

In regards to the new scarf (which sure looks junky in that photo haha), it looks like they're trying to redo the Follow Me scarf which was quite a nice piece and not that expensive when it was in stores if I remember correctly. Even though it was plain cotton, the stitchwork was all folded inside with no exposed seams. It was quite a nice piece to tell you the truth! For a time, I really wanted one.

Then (as others have stated on here), american apparel put out their extra long thin cotton scarves which are an order of magnitude cheaper than any of the DH ones. The look is the same, so why not go for that instead right?

I'm quite happy with my recent purchases.... nothing from the current or last season of course (hahahah). Got a nice tux which can be broken down into its components for wear (damn, they are so versatile!!!), a leather blazer from Follow Me (I know, thanks for everyones input, but I still like it... I can dress it down with a tee or something like that so it's not so... 90's hahaha), and the neon green hoodie from Luster.

All I need now is that neon yellow one....

just came back from the dior homme vegas store. the fw05 stuff are almost fraudulent. the sleeves on the retail suits and jackets are so MUCH more relaxed than the runway ones, to the point where the silhouette of the cloth don't even resemble each other.

do the older dior homme retail suits more resemble the runway pieces? what season did dior homme start relaxing it's fits?

I remember seeing a middle aged man (who was kind of short and large, not at all the fashion forward type) at Jeffrey's wearing that polo...I was curious as to how much it cost, the material looked like a regular pique polo to me. $339 is a bit much I would've guessed $200 tops.

I liked the S/S 05 polos much better (the navy/grey striped one was actually quite nice).

That scarf is still around in Hong Kong boutiques at 30% off I believe (or they may have discounted DH further this season I didn't check the prices). Should come down to the 100 dollar range. I was surprised at what items the store still had that were already sold out in the States...like the $475 raw denim looking jeans with the thigh creases are still in abundance or the beaded shetland wool sweaters.

I actually saw an item i've never seen before, it was the shetland beaded sweater but the beading was more overdone than any of the previous versions I've seen in the states. It costs almost $1,300.

Absolutely! The neon yellow... that'll be a tricky one haha. Too bad, at the deep discount sales time for luster, there were TONS of the green and yellow hoodies left. No blues though, that one was honestly hard to come by.

I hope to have the leather blazer by this coming weekend or early next week. I'll definitely have some pix up!
