You could try one of the DIOR HOMME flagships in NYC , Paris , Tokyo etc .

It was A/W 05/06 collection .
Actually it's a Japanese Samurai ' kilt ' , made in a number of cloths , including tartan .

Karl Lagerfeld bought one and wore one .

IF you could still get one , the price was astronomical , as it was a ' directional ' piece .

£5000 should just about do it !!!!!

I think we would have been talking in that ballpark , provided that such an item were available today , about which I very much have my doubts .

Do you have any idea of just how much DIOR HOMME costs ? If not , you should read the Dior Homme threads in ' Designers and Collections ' . It's a revelation .

You're right of course , it's just that I have lost track of time and after ' LUSTER ' I find that Hedi's collections all merge into one .
I should have disinterred my A/W 04/05 copy of ' L'Uomo Book ' for reference , before I jumped in with my comment .

It just goes to show , research is all .
