^ Wearing corsets doesn't necessarily reconstruct your waist. Dita is a small woman in general, and as a frequent corset-wearer she's also had to restrict her diet to fit into them. She's probably just thin.

It may be from corsets. Corsets at one time did deform the women who wore them. I would, however, believe Dita has taken percautions to prevent this. But only Dita knows for sure. She seems smart enought not to harm herself in such a manner.

It's just weird to see how big her hips are then her actual waist is so, so tiny it looks as though it is from the corsets. There's only so much you can do with diet and exercise, she said she only does pilates and ballet. She looks good regardless.

whoop! My first post!

When I saw the discussion about Dita's waste, I had to jump in! I went to see Dita in Paris at the Crazy Horse show, when I went early in to get my tickets I was fortunate enough to just walk out of the Crazy Horse when Dita walked in. I can assure you, Dita - even in heels- is PETITE!!! She's tiny in everywhere which makes her even more precious.
Here are her sizes from her beauty book:

I believe with a corset her waste can go to 18 inch I believe (not 100% sure though)
