The 41-year-old burlesque dancer recently chatted with The New York Post at the Van Cleef & Arpels fifth avenue unveiling about Miley Cyrus and the dance craze twerking.

“I’m not someone who is appalled by Miley Cyrus, thinking it’s vulgar,” Dita said. “I love the very beautiful combined with the vulgar. The problem is, I don’t find [twerking] very beautiful. I’m more interested in looking at a Helmut Newton photograph of fetishistic situations and nudity and eroticism… that drives my imagination, not the everyday vulgarity.”
