Dita Von Teese (in EB1955) poses with Paris during a book signing for “Dita: Stripteese” at Revamp Vintage in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday (December 20).
The 37-year-old burlesque queen was surprised by one young fan, who was wearing a dress with a depiction of Dita on it.
At a previous book signing, Dita told Pop Tarts, “I don’t mind being called [a burlesque stripper] because that is what I do, but I don’t understand why there is such a taboo attached to it. Basically what I do is like an actress that has nude scenes in a movie, it’s part of the role and its part of what my show is. It’s not really any different. I think it’s just too easy for people to criticize.”

Dita Von Teese proves that even grocery shopping can be glamorous as she shops at Gelson’s market in Los Angeles on Monday (December 21).

The 37-year-old burlesque superstar picked up some home essentials with her boyfriend, French aristocrat Louis Marie de Castelbajac.

Dita recently tweeted that one of her favorite Christmas songs of the moment is Jimmy Butler’s “Trim Your Tree”. “Love the retro risque xxxmas tunes!” she wrote.
