Louboutin uses shoes as a metaphor for character, and matchmaking woman to shoe is one of his favourite games. So, when his great friend Dita Von Teese agreed to pose for a portrait for his new book, he designed a voluptuous chartreuse peep-toe pump with fans of fabric to echo her burlesque persona.

So far, so obvious, but, he goes on: “She has something that you don’t perceive. There is a part of her that is like the American 1950s burlesque star, but she could be almost like a geisha. Physically, people don’t approach her in a familiar way. They have respect, just as if you see a geisha in the street, and you would be surprised by the colour of the skin and the persona.”

PS. Her ArtDeco make up collection is AMAZING. I've bought rouge no.9, Beauty Box Quadro, lipliner and lipstick in 615(Muse Red). The last two are superb quality, long lasting, a bit matte, but not drying

Dita and Theo's style goes so well together -- dapper gentleman, ladylike Dita. I always found Theo's style weird next to Alexa Chung's who he was supposedly dating before Dita.

I was a bit sad to see that she wasn't with Louis-Marie anymore but she and Theo make a really cute couple.
She looks incredible in that red dress. Her plae skin and amazing figure put the dress on a whole other level.

I disagree. There is something tacky about this guy, I dont like his pierced ear and his hair looks just greasy, too much gel. He might be a nice person, but for some reason I dont like him and his style. I prefered Louis Marie (even if he looked maybe a bit similar to Theo, he was more sophisticated and elegant to me)
