The best thing about docs is that any style looks great (except of course the sandals!!), in my opinion they are the ULTIMATE winter boots....and festival boots......and summer boots, i fricken love docs!!! i think i had my first pair when i was about 6 or 7 for school....damn i was a cool child!! I miss mine so much, i left them back home in ireland and am tempted to buy some more, possibly the new style with the high heel. they shouldnt work but they do!!

Hate to admit it, but I never got tired of them! They've been my go to for a while because they are definitely my style (I'm a combat boot junkie) and they're comfortable, and the price is always right. But lately it's because the look has changed; there are so many styles now, I have 3 pair that you wouldn't know were docs just by looking at them! I even found a pair of booties that I love.

Does anyone know if there is a difference between the Vintage line of Docs nowadays and the older ones made prior to 2003? I know they're both made in England, but I'm wondering if there are obvious changes or fluctuations in terms of quality.

the made in england ones are of a much much higher and better quality so im told .. i only have the older ones though .. aparently the sole is differnt material in the new ones

yeah well that's what I was thinking because then they would really stand out. I wear mostly plain clothes (ie not patterned). A lot of grey/navy/black and denim and all my dresses are quite dark. I think I just have this vision of me wearing them looking like Behati and unfortunately...that's not the reality
