Some new news about series three!

Filming begins on third series Of Doctor Who.

With Christmas special The Runaway Bride now in the can, the new series of Doctor Who starts filming this week.
Joining David Tennant is newcomer Freema Agyeman, who will play medical student Martha Jones.
"I am still pinching myself and can't wait to get started!" Says Freema. "It's been nerve wracking but David has been brilliant in helping me to adjust on my first days on set. I am really looking forward to travelling through time and space with him over the next eight months."
Russell T Davies, writer and Executive Producer, adds: "We were delighted and honoured by the second series' success, and we can promise new thrills, new laughs and some terrifying new aliens. The Doctor and Martha are destined to meet William Shakespeare, blood sucking alien Plasmavores, The Judoon - a clan of galactic stormtroopers and a sinister intelligence at work in 1930's New York."
Filming of the Christmas episode which guest stars Catherine Tate as a bride who finds her wedding day interrupted by an alien plot to destroy the earth has already been completed. The storyline features the return of the Robot Santas and also guest stars Sarah Parish as the evil, alien mastermind.
Returning cast members include John Barrowman who will be making an appearance in the series finale. Guest stars include Anne Reid, Roy Marsden, and Don Gilet.

can't wait for the Xmas special have to admit i really got into in the 2nd season has i had to watch it every weekend with my little brother

I watch the 1st and 2nd episode of torchwood i didn't feel that jack was the same charater he seemed a bit darker... maybe i'll have to get into more

I really hope there isn't a new Doctor I'm so not prepared to welcome Eleven, I absolutely love David Tennant as the Doctor and I think my heart will break if he leaves I'm sure there's some kind of timey-wimey, wibbly-wobbly thing that'll explain away the regeneration--something to do with that hand.

And what about Donna? There's got to be more to her than meets the eye. AND if the Doctor and Rose don't get a proper reunion I will be shaking my fist

i know he made a very good doctor but who knows i think theres some twists in the tale to be had!

yeah i want to know what all of this with donna is.... it cant just be that shes stronger than she thinks she is and not as useless like in the episode before when she had that beetle on her back... the lady said she was strong!? but what does that mean.

i actually really cannot wait for saturday

Did anyone watch the finale? I thought it was really good, not as good as episode 12 but I still enjoyed it nonetheless.

Was anyone else disappointed with The Doctor and Rose at the end? I desperately wanted the real Doctor to tell her he loved her. Oh well. In my head they're off getting married and making babies in the parallel world.

I guess Mickey and Mar-fah going off with Jack meant they're joining Torchwood? Which, as much as I love it, will now be unbearable to watch. I love Mickey but I detest Martha, Gwen and her twat of a husband. I'm not sure I can handle all three of them on the same show for the new series, especially now Owen and Tosh have gone.

bless donna going back to being a useless old temp since now she cant remember anything

yeah i would assume martha and micky will be going to torchwood i dont think martha is one of the best characters but i dont find her overly annoying.


what i found strange was that darlek caan was actually medeling to kill his own kind hmmm abit strange since i thought all they ever said was 'exterminate'

the doctor is all alone again who will be his next companion? and why is it never a bloke would that just never work?

I hate to say it, the day after the finale I feel really disappointed with it in some ways

I'm happy Rose has a Doctor for herself--but I agree, I so wanted real!Doctor to tell her he loved her, and I wanted them to have the happy ending somehow (even knowing it was impossible). The kiss was pretty awesome though, and Rose is left with a sassy Doctor, considering he's got some Donna in him. But still. I wanted my Doctor with Rose

I am SO unhappy with Donna's ending. I really, really grew to love her and I am just so appalled at what they did to her. Honestly I cried so hard at the end...she lost everything good that had happened to her, all of the changes in her personality, and for what? I don't truly think it's the end for her though--I totally think her ring is like a fob-watch and someday she'll be able to remember what happened to her without her brain burning up.

I love Martha, I think I'm one of the only people that do, although her appearance in this episode was kind of...well, I could see the things in her that other people don't like. I personally think it's pretty awesome if she and Mickey end up at Torchwood. Note to self, start watching Torchwood.

And poor Doctor, all alone again. He's so emo, I just want to pet him.

i agree!!!!!!!!!!!!! my dad was trying to convince me that 'its okay, she has her own doctor' but, its obviously not the same! rose's doctor is donna and the doctor. so its just dkjahkdjasd.

i honestly, after the second to last episode where he started regenerating, looked up on the dailymail to see if he was done. and i saw an article about all the guys that are being considered, and i HATE to admit it, but i cried!!! i got so attached to David. the guy thats like the main runner for the new doctor is going to be in the christmas special. so who knows if David will even do the other 4 specials throughout 2009..

i read somewhere that when caan saw the whole of time when he saved davros, he saw the daleks for what they really were.

i love that the daleks are so stupid! caan was hilarious, what a funny idea, making an insane dalek.

my favourite is when they say "what is happening? explain! EXPLAIN!" hahah.
