How would I go about doing a less drastic "doe-eyed" look than this one?

I tried but ended up looking like a clown. :stuart:

for some reason, when i saw that pic, i was immediately reminded of twiggy with the chunky mascara look:

and maybe instead of the thick line on top, something softer like a darker shadow to make the eyes look rounder/almond shaped in the crease under the eyebrow bone/socket.. and then keep the thick eyeliner for the top lid but let it 'spill' over the edges a bit on both ends so you still get a bit of 'pop art'. :flower:

(ok, technically twiggy already has doe-eyes but the chunky mascara def reminds me of the look you posted)

sorry for the HUMONGOUS pic!

wow so true about the twiggy thing!!!
its a pretty cool look i have to admit

The chanel look is almost impossible to look good in I think....cool on the runway but in real life it's a little to goth for me...
But if you really want the look, try using a brown eyeliner and bronze eyeshadow, like twiggy....

I think that I've achieved it. I used a shadow that wasn't as light as the one used on the model. Looks better because I'm dark skinned.

If I do it, i always wear pink blusher and light pink lips, that way I don't look tooooo gothic... naughty but nice hehe
