Dolce & Gabbana F/W 2015.16 Milan

It is like Dolce & Gabbana designed by a conservative political party. It is unbelievable these two were launching SDM and hooker inspired collections back in the 90s and early 00s...and now they present just the opposite of this!! I miss their old style so much.

It is really shocking. From SEX to right wing party!

Judging from the initial comments, I was expecting a complete abomination, but this is cute and feminine.

A lot of the patterns look like pre printed pictures that come on paper towels.

Total yawn, same old romantic, sicilian-inspired collection, just this time with words about being a mom. They were 3 or 4 cute dresses in the beginning, but other than that, total tacky-yawn. I miss the old, racy Dolce.

With each season, the Dolce woman becomes more and more of a charicature of herself, doesn't she?

sorry , but i don´t wanna look like a sicilian maaaamma

Were they inspired by Angelina Jolie?! I´d guess that a grown woman would only want to dress with kids drawings if they´re her own...

they just take their inspirations FAR too literally..it was quite a nice idea to have the theme but really? those drawings?

Nice in theory, but terrible execution. Most of the collection was literally the same three-quarter sleeve dress but with different drawings on them. What was the point of having more than 90 looks?

There are definitely good single pieces but in general not a fan although this is a definite lift from the previous potatoesack dresses.

You know ten years ago I would've laughed in your face if you'd told me that "cloyingly sweet" would ever be a phrase one could've used to describe anything with the Dolce & Gabbana name attached to it. Sexy, yes. Romantic, sure. Feminine, absolutely. But this is a pure, unadulterated cheese...well, one in a long line I suppose.

I'm just way too cynical for this girlish crap that's been going on in fashion. Stunted development may be the new black but I'm so not into it.

Those flower prints reminds me of their FW 1996/97 collection. It's getting better I guess.

same old same old but I do like the crocodile jacket with fur trimmed.

I concur completely.
It's floral, pink and there are babies.
Dolce & Gabbana has grown up... they were midnight sex on the Trevi Fountain, now they're Roman matron.
And the irony is, they're using their own archives to try and convey their progression. Every season, the same silhouette, I get their trademark calf skirts and oval necklines, do something else.
If anything Dolce & Gabbana is now the stereotype for 'growing up' being an alternate term for 'getting staler'.
