Dolce & Gabbana S/S 2026 Milan

I think it was smart that they closed the d&g part of the label, they can easily fall back on a younger customer And keep the older mature customers. It's just a show of their codes this is what they do when they do it. everybody looks expensive and beautiful. The girls are stunning. I haven't seen a show with this many pretty girls in a long time Well since there last show. It feels repetitive but this stuff sells well and they can fill up their massive stores.
Ps the music was great.
If I was in that audience and miranda priestly came out I would have went crazy 🤣🤣🤣

A rather pleasant young and fresh collection. Again, they did the pyjama thing in 2009 so they are revisiting their body of work and I’m fine with it when it looks this fresh.
Nobody expect new from Dolce & Gabbana after 40years. I’m fine with young and fresh.

However, the disconnect between this and and their Alta Moda is almost hilarious.

I think the styling of the red striped shirt dress with the leopard coat was quite ambitious and unexpected.

Less forced than their previous pandering to young people.
That part! But overall I liked it too.

I think this show is a perfect example of how to successfully make up for a total lack of creativity while still delivering a glorious moment.

The styling by Karl Templer really shows how good he can be. All the girls look absolutely stunning, and I love the ‘old school’ runway vibe throughout. They don’t overcomplicate things, and it works perfectly — they know exactly what they’re doing. In that sense, now that Mr. Armani is gone, there aren’t many Italian houses left that truly understand their strengths and how to maximize their presence — no matter how one-dimensional it may be in the case of D&G.

I will never be a Dolce & Gabbana fan (ever), but I do respect their continuity and perseverance over the years.

The Meryl Streep/Devil Wears Prada touch is just an added bonus — and a very clever one. It’s all over social media and even resonates with people who aren’t avid fashion followers.

I liked it ! Gorgeous models , louche clothes , it reminded me of when fashion shows back in the 80s and 90s , I am tired of seeing iterations of Phoebe Philo knock off shows with boring models.
I was waiting for them to pose but nothing. I believe some kind of fashion executioner would k1ll them if they tried.

At best it was an styling exercise...but boring

The cast was boring too...with some exceptions...

The best was Miranda and Nigel...

The best things here were the music, the ventilator that produced that beautiful breeze in the hair and the relaxed walk of the models.
The collection itself... by look number 20 you perfectly knew how the rest 45 would be.
If instead of the video you look to the pics, it is just pajamas and lingerie.
As a summer wardrobe I find it reductive.

I prefer this to the past F/W collection, although the show wasn't as fun (I actually found it quite dull). It does feel like a copy & paste job from the mens' show, so in some ways is quite underwhelming but at least everything feels glamorous. I like how Karl styled the leather coats over the pyjamas on Selena and particularly the large shirt over lace on Elina. No where near as good as the S/S 09 show but hopefully Meisel can elevate the collection further with a good campaign unlike this season.

And I'd also add the girls' glam, which I personally loved.

The casting was by Piergiorgio Del Moro, I wonder why this change, given that it was quite similar to Rosie Vogel's.
the devil wears prada 2 is going to be so embarrassing and pathetic 😭
Do you think they were filming during the show or was it just a cameo since the production was in Milan? Actually, I didn't notice any cameras or clapperboards or anything like that.

Pyjama Parties were meant to be fun. This is more like the patients from a hospital walking around its halls to kill the time.

I like this brand because there’s something humorous yet charismatic about their fashion. They’re one of those designers from the 80s still standing strong, the kind I root for alongside Rei and Yohji (Miuccia is also from that era but I don’t like her anymore).
They have such a rich and diverse heritage that they could keep remaking it without ever running out of ideas. I’d rather see them explore that 90s legacy than churn out another round of soulless pyjamas and same old same old lace stuff.
