my friend sent me a text message from this show...
"thinking of you-wish you were here"...

i could have throttled her......

...

The runway was covered in gold leaves(real gold). Gold is known for being very easy to manipulate and transform in very very thin layers. There was gold leaves in the drinks and on the cakes at the show.
The catwalk was hidden by a thick velvet curtains, it went all around the catwalk and the curtain was suspended to a rectangular metal frame, and it was all lifted up to the high ceiling at the begining of the show revealing the gold runway. The music was a romantic deep smooth instrumental, the runway was filled with 4-5 models at the time, walking confortably. The atmosphere was really magic and soothing. Today I truly discovered Dries Van Noten and what he stands for.

Oh so it was real gold. I am surprised
(where has the "concept" gone to:-)

well, he's a master of prints...

i can't get over the fact that he does not disappoint..EVER!

and does this guy even advertise? his prices seem decent....

i love that dress on jessica stam...

i like dries alot..it's always very pretty

I could eat him alive. He's done gold runway before but I don't believe it had the texture. I like how he places emphasis on a timeless quality, there's almost something spiritual about it, he reeks of stability but it never bores.
