I was in the Dries store in Paris this week and it was, unfortunately full of lots of bling-ey over the top face lifted types.....they looked terrible and were buying half the store

I noticed that too, not the kind of clientele I expected to see at Dries either! I was a little jealous they could carelessly raid the boutique.

About the collection, what a relief! I didn't like the 1st pics but after seeing it all, I recognize Dries' work! I still have doubts on a few looks but I love the colors and cuts!

Unlike last season - I completely love this...
On both a personal & creative level...
It is much more sedate and peaceful..
As opposed to the blaring, albeit genius, prints/colors of last season...
Seems much more Dries.. the colors, the subtle yet distinct prints...
The undisputed layering... amazing..
The fur is perfect - it seems so relaxed and nonchalant...
Not superfluous or ostentatious...
It's mind-blowing, rly...

It would have been fun but I didn't see them.
Last time I was at the boutique, there was a foreign couple which would expect to see more at Versace or Cavalli if you know what I mean...

Those bursts of color are simply fantastic. The prints, shapes and colors lend this collection a fun, vibrant vibe.

And, I guess some granny chic managed to seep into Paris, IMO.

I really like this. Especially the prints, but then again I can't recall a single time I have disliked prints from dries. I loved the ones in his last collection, but I do have a soft spot for colorful flower prints..
I'm not that crazy about the flowy skirts or dresses they are a bit too hippie-ish for my taste. at least most of them.. The more clean cutted dresses though I love. Also the jackets, sweaters and accessories are really lovely.
