Electric / Neon Colors S/S 07

^i guess if you live in UK you've seen these neons a lot, no? isn't london keen of neons (like 2yrs ago. elektroklash?).

That's what im thinking. I 'did' the whole neon/electroclash thing about 3 years ago and im sure it was pretty mainstream eventually aswell. Im surprised it has come back, because it's difficult to do properly. Im guessing this time it's linked in with all that new rave stuff, but to me that just seems like electroclash for people who dont have a sense of style! Haha.

Yeah I havent lived in London for long but I have noticed it especially with clubs as there's always some kind of electro night every weekend which basically seems like an excuse for everyone to 'out-neon' eachother lol, but hey each to their own.

It looks o.k. on the runway, but like others said: An H&M version (cheaper fabrics) can look horrible. I rather wear something grey with some neon accents (especially pink).

wow! I think it is great. A little reminiscent of the late 80's IMO, but still super modern with the designs. Finally! BRIGHT colors!

so funny - friday night my friends and i dressed up as ice skaters and went ice skating - and i threw on one of my favorite items of clothing, a crazy multi-colored neon windbreaker! and i've been wearing my electric blue tights since 7th grade...i love this. i think it is so fun.

I've built up a fond liking for fluro/neon colours. I like the neons seen at Christopher Kane and Karen Walker did a pretty good job as well which are probably more wearable than Christopher Kane's collection. I think I might try a few fluro accents because fluro pieces of clothing can date quite quickly.

I am loving the neon colours accessories u can get now, i bought this lush fuschia bag in H&M that will give me a subtle hint of this trend. I don't think I could go guns blazing & dress in neon head to toe

Well I live about four hours away from London, so I wouldn't know any specifics, but were London leads, Manchester often follows. I think it's a tricky one to pull off. You can either try for full on electro, which in 99% of cases looks try-hard and contrived or you can add a little neon to your usual outfits...which is what I do as a proud owner of a pair of fluroescent pink tights!

Have to agree. As far as neon being a new trend, I remember a few years back when fluro was THE trend. I was a little young to follow fully, but I seem to remember persuading my mother to buy me some neon scrunchies from tammy. Bless.
