It seems every time I look at a fashion magazine these days, I'm thinking, "You're young and you're lovely... but you're not your mother". From Lila to Kaia to Carys (soon to be in Fendi ads with CZJ), it's a plague upon the pages.
There's always the argument that the true waste would be for these people to turn down the opportunities on offer to them - but in the meantime, there are sensational no-name models out there that we're never going to hear about.
Surnames might sell, but the cruel truth of beauty - and unforgettable modelling - is that it's spontaneously gifted to individuals at random. Your famous mother can teach you how to conduct yourself, but she can't change your eyes being too close together for photogenic perfection.
