Just happy to see him working
I'll buy more on behalf of youI wanna participate but I’m too tall for Zara clothes ☹️

More than brand awareness, I hope, if he indeed make a return with his own line that they will be clever enough to stay in the within a price point relevant to the people who are going to be reintroduced to his work. What I suspect the purpose of this is.. his 2 year partnership with Zara is to raise brand awareness for the eventual return to his own maison.
Bringing the Galliano name to the high street is quite clever strategically only because in order to relaunch JG, the brand needs to be financially viable in today's market. If there’s demand I’m sure the JG brand will make its return
Both of them being Spanish helps a ton!More than brand awareness, I hope, if he indeed make a return with his own line that they will be clever enough to stay in the within a price point relevant to the people who are going to be reintroduced to his work.
So that means, Dries Van Noten, Paco Rabanne kind of area.
It’s a real test. I feel like there’s a magic behind the name, what it evokes and the shows and everything but in reality, we don’t know if people loves his clothes that much…Particularly millenials who are hunting for Vintage Dior or in general pre-2000’s Vintage Galliano.
Does it mean that they will start to have shows too? Part of the magic is also his shows…
I feel like Miss Ortega is relieving her teenage years: Narciso, Stefano, John, Meisel…etc. Probably people she loved growing up and now they all got to work with her for her brand.
Generally. Yes. The Ludovic/Zara collab was a hit. Simply because what Zara does very well besides commerce is selling a visual story with each collection. I’ve noticed that even if the high street copies, they do it better in some cases compared to Dior or MB. I mean… literally look at Dior’s latest campaigns and tell me if they’re “high fashion” or aspirational. Dior’s recent ad campaign could be banana republic…What does this say about the future of fashion? fashion as it applies to commerce? This is one of the biggest designers in the world right now.
What do u guys think?
I'm happy to see him working, but I don't know how I feel about this.I'm also happy to see that people can get a taste of gallano.
I think maybe perhaps the luxury industry is going to shrink.
A lot of big houses are not doing well, financially , no matter how many designers they put in place.
The Big question is, will people with good money Walk into zaras and purchase a John galliano? If thats the case then some big houses will fold.

Ture, but remember lv have to be stopped by the french government for burning unsellable luxury leather items.Hell froze over for real, its a sad development
Zara is a vile company there is nothing to celebrate, pls research guys.
Zara is not better than Chanel, but Chanel is not better than Zara.I thought you’d be happy as Zara is better than Chanel.
Yes this is a huge downgrade for John and to me indicates he has not rehabbed his image and is down bad. The executives are still not backing him.
This doesn’t make sense to get his name out there his name was out there from his MMM run. It was either go to another top label or this.
Sad. John’s career is over.
