Ellen von Unwerth - Photographer

I was looking through that website and I love her work. Its so, trashy. But in an intended way. I love it.

I love how sexual her images are... it makes them that much alluring.

thank you for your scans justadreamer... but could you please credit them a bit further as outline in tFS guidelines?

Scans

It is not enough to post “scanned by me”
  • Please add the name of the magazine/book from which the scan was made, in the case of magazines please add the publishing time(year)/month/edition,
  • Additionally, to help your fellow members in their searches, it would be very helpful if, in the case of editorials that you mention the name of the editorial, the photographer/stylist/make up artist/model etc that were involved in the editorial.

Ah, my apologies. I've been so used to just saying the source were my scans and seeing others do so. I shall make sure I go further from now on. As to the above post here's what I recall and can see from the scans, as I cannot find the magazine this minute and need to get to work

I adore her work! It is so sexy and doesn't seem exploitive. There always seems to be a level of fun in her pix.

I cant help but like most of her work. A couple of her shots go too far for me though.

I always feel that it would be great fun to be involved in one of her photo shoots.

Does anyone have watched a short movie, "Wendybird" that Ellen von Unwerth directed? It's for the erin fetherson autumn 2006 collection, and starring Kirsten Dunst.

I think her work is edgy, but sometimes a little bit too sexy for me. I am more interested in the 'innocense and nature' stuff.

I love Ellen's work. It's sexy & provocative and it just works!

I ADORE Ellen! The way she portrays women, IMO, exposes our prejudices. The virgin/wh*re esthetic is relevant, because, honestly, in society that's how women are portrayed. You're either a good girl or a bad girl and I love that Ellen takes that idea and reworks it in a strong, beautiful way. She's the best!
