Emilio Pucci F/W 2007.08 Milan

Ooh this is amazing.I LOVE IT!
Its just a packed collection with great things;love the colour, materials, patterns, fur, clutches, coats, shoes.Surprisignly strong collection from Matthew,i thought he was lost for good.Welcome back. :flower:

i actually like this

His new york collection was bad but this is just awesome , he had to work in garrish pucci patterns and he made it look good . I like this better than Gucci and D&G i can wear a lot of this stuff . I especially like the burnt orange bell bottom ensemble , very warm color to wear on a winter day, he actually made clothes for winter .

not a fan of the 70s eurodisco at all :ninja:

i like the patchworkesque/ block coat and mini dress. not a fan of the colors or furs.

These are hippie/mod inspired clothes school girls were between 1968-1971.

I was just reminded of something funny and Pucci-related that happened to me yesterday... I was showing a college friend around NYC. She'd never been before. We were walking down 5th Avenue and passed by the Pucci store. She started to laugh and pointed at the store. I said "What?" and she was like "Pucci... What, are they trying to fool people into thinking they're Gucci?". I nearly died...

this is a pleasant surprise, i think
pucci prints have been killed to death, i like that williamson is giving them a new feel
some pieces are undeniably hideous, but i like some prints and shapes and colors

You just know the likes of Mischa Barton and Lindsay Lohan will be wearing these short printed dresses.

That's what makes it appealing and that's why I love it ^_^ :D The euro-space-age Pucci woman did not work for the brand; it turned out to be cheap and tacky. This sort of aesthetic is more appealing and wearable.

WAY too much fur. It looks like Natasha is some sort of monster in that green fur. I do love the short-sleeved sweaterdress and the prints are nice, as well as the accessories. I know I'm gonna need some yellow tights now! The fur killed it though and the group pieces-where the 5 models came out in a group-were way too 70's for me.

And what's with wearing a shag carpet?

I can't help but feel like this is the direction that the Biba collection should have gone in.

The overload of marigold that opens the show is just way too much, as are some of the color combinations. But somehow it kind of works.

i love pucci, mostly because the prints just take me back to the lovely 60's which im in love with, so I cannot really argue the fact that the clothing will always look dated when using any Pucci print.

I haven't seen anything from Pucci to this day that wows me at all, other than the changes of prints, and how they revisit the old prints and play around with them. But nothing new or exiting coming from Pucci these days.

Im still stuck to the boxy shapes and white leather w/ Pucci prints from the 60's.

a beautiful collection. everything works, from the square, chunky cuff to the foot wear.

I see poo jacket...
Although it's better than last season's. Is Williamson still doing this?

somes look very cute and wearable but somes tacky!!
