Emilio Pucci F/W 2007.08 Milan

I love the colours, except the brown one. The dress on Stam in post #35 is probably my favourite (without the fur).

Thank goodness. I was worried when I saw his namesake line in New York, but he has redeemed himself with this collection.

I love absolutely everything, except the funky tights.

 :woot:

I really like some parts of the collection but I have to say that there wasn't much that was totally new.

And another thing:
this dress REALLY reminds me

of this one from YSL F/W 2006

both pics from style

What do you think?

yeah, they're defintely similar. but the whole style with the color and the stones made me think of the ysl dress as soon as i saw it.

THey both have sheer puffy sleeves, and gold attached embellishment, and on paper that sounds the same, but to me they look completely different.

The YSL has a waistline and an entirely different silhouette, and it's embellishment is only on the edges. The pucci dress is all covered with embellishemnt and is shorter

I think his doing better now. Everithing isnt fab but there is some pices that a great. Anyway this is the first collection for Pucci that I actually like.

It's so....vintage. And not in a good way. I think the colors are completely off.

Did not like... but then again I'm not a big fan of Pucci. I like the signature prints, but not the way their cut or the styles of the dresses.

Is she wearing a shaggy mop or a shaggy hairy poncho?
Again the 80's are so overrated..

Are there hqs up of this collection yet,?? its one of my favorites, big karma to anyone who can post them:flower:

this collection is not 80's in the slightest-

it does however take the worst aspects of the 60's and 70's and combine them in a particularly horrible way
