The evolution of Peter Dundas in Emilio Pucci has been one of the most interesting and noticeable cases in the fashion system these days. His collections to the firm have been true hits with a lot of media impact but with the constant critics of being too similar to other hit brands such as Balmain or Gucci.
I think this is the season that Dundas creates for Pucci a unique style that when we see it, we don’t think of anything else but Pucci, no other designer comes to mind. Today we’ve seen one of the best shows in Milan Fashion Week that gives back the glamour and sexiness to the Italian fashion capital; superb cuts and sexy volume delicately worked, ethereal hot dresses, bohemian chic day looks, the classic Pucci prints in suggestive clothes and the vision of Dundas more in our faces than ever. The models were stunning, the clothes were in perfect contrast with the location and in the end you could tell that Peter was extremely proud of his latest “master piece”, which by the way, he has reasons to spare.
