Engagement Rings / Wedding Bands

I can't find a pic, but my ideal engagement ring is set in platinum and is the three stone style like Yasmin posted with the outer two stones being pink diamons and the center stone a white diamond. Either that or just a 2 carat diamond solitaire set in platinum.

Can anyone refer me to a jewlery in LA that specializes in Vintage Style engagement rings. Dainty bands, microbeading, platinum. It is so hard to find a jeweler that designs very feminine thin bands and crown.

Oh, I get it!

Can anyone refer me to a vintage style jeweler that is highly recommended? Thanks

So, this is my engagement ring :

one of my dream rings:heart: (only I'd like a bit higher color...ECs show a lot of color compared to other shapes..they also faceup/appear smaller for their carat weight)

Really? I had heard that this type of cut was not so good as far as reflecting light for a bright shine....
Who cares tho! Because yours is gorge! :flower:

Has anyone seen the princess cut ring from tiffany? My boyfriend wants to buy me that one but I really DONT want that ring. With all the other jeweler's Tiffany isn't my favorite. I'm thinking Cartier because every good piece of jewelery has been handed to Cartier, from the begining of time.

Wedding Band & Engagement Ring

does anyone know which goes on top?

I wear my band on the bottom...and my big rock :) on the top. haha.

but I didn't do it because I was supposed to or not...it was what looked best

I think you are supposed to wear the wedding band on the bottom...closer to your heart. It doesn't really matter, it's all about personal preference.

Traditionally, it is worn as the others have said; wedding band on the bottom (as it is closer to the heart) and the engagement ring on top.

However, that is tradition and realistically there is no right or wrong way to wear your rings! ;)

yea I agree..I will wear what looks best ;)

I'm shopping for a wedding ring now, and if my custom order comes through I would wear my engagement ring on the bottom, as my index finger is a bigger size than my fourth finger. Then the wedding band on top, to "clamp" down my engagement ring.

Prombably just a solitaire ring. I don't like wearing rings, though, and especially not big ones, so if it's a ring I'm expected to actually wear (like a wedding ring) I'd need a small and non- bulky one. But in theory, I prefer a solitaire ring. It's timeless and a classic (but I'd go crazy if I had to wear it)
