I don't think they are just "too lazy" to shoot a campaign, as we all know campaigns take a lot of money to pay the photographer, the models, all the people working behind the scenes.

I don't really know how good Etro is selling, but it let's us assume they slow down with their income. Squizree says so, who is buyng it?
I rarely see Etro in any eds as well.

everyone has to find cost savings somewhere in this economy and the etro crowd really isn't the "fashion magazine" crowd persay. it's more the cocktail-in-hand, fueling-the-boat, sand-in-gucci-loafers, villebrequins-everyday type of wall streeter or european-on-holiday.

the stuff is bread and butter for stores like saks and neimans so i'd assume they would experience something of a pull back given the latest economic turmoil

i don't mind the backstage shot, but they could have at least photoshopped the poor guy a little better. his undereye shadow is frightening.
