It's actually not that hard, I was bored (in a boring conversation) and fiddling with my hair and thought I'd give it a go. Try with a small section near the front of your hair first as practice. Then just split that section in two, take a teeny bit of hair from one section & cross it into the other, then do it the other way round and just carry on. Ok I'm rubbish at explaining, sorry! I find it's easiest with straight hair rather than curly/wavy hair

saann, I have just been checking youtube for the fishtail plait!! There's a pretty cool video there that makes it seem really easy to do them. I guess it's because the girl is pretty good at it, I tried to follow the steps and the final result wasn't quite just the same.
