Exercises to tone the inner thighs?

i think in terms of inner thighs, running slower, for a longer time and a farther distance will help reduce the bulk. if you look at sprinters, their legs are crazy big, but long distance runners are toned and sleek. i would go from 2 mi. per day to 4 maybe every other day.

Squats and lunges (simple and free. 3 sets of 10 to start off with. You can do them with extra weight using a barbell with weights or just hand weights) + cardio that works for you (spinning, jogging, walking).

The squats and lunges are the 'toning' (although there is no such thing as 'toning' so to speak) element and the cardio will help strip off excess 'fat' to reveal your hard-earned muscles. As there's no such thing as spot reducing (e.g. just the inner thighs) centimetres may come off other parts of your body at first but don't give up. It's consistent strengthening work and cardio work that produces results. The intensity of your workout is also important! No half-hearted lunges! lol Let it burn!

Don't forget to do some form of stretching. Pilates/Yoga will help to elongate your muscles.

i believe skipping might be the answer..
but I used to be a runner .. and my legs have a lot of bulky muscle. I hate it. :yuck:

^ update: pilates and ball classes do not add bulk to the legs but make them lean.
