The Leg Thread - Toning, Firming and Questions

The video :) it's amazing!
I do the 20 minute workout everyday since 7 days now. and I feel more tones, and its visibly noticable in my legs. So I'm really pleased.
(though the first two days my back and neck hurt, but the pain passed.)
 
lucky u .. it hasn't really worked for me.. plus.. i cant show off my legs neways.. :S stretchmarks on the back of my knees.. its horrible!!
 
^ don't worry about it, darling. just enjoy your life. It is not that important as you may think it is :flower:
 
do lunges make ur legs more muscular & bulky instead of just slimming down?
i've been getting increasingly confused through this thread haha.
 
I don´t think so... they make you legs stronger and muscules will burn fat!

but the secret is in your "diet" (eating habits)
1. if you eat a lot, more than you really need, unhealthy food - your muscules will "grow", you will gain weight - strong muscules + fat!

2. if you eat well - muscules will burn fat on your thigs and butt, stomach, just everywhere :woot:
 
cardio helps slim u down everywhere!... i find swimming helps lengthen ur leg muscles and probably pilates and yoga as well. You do want a bit of muscles on ur legs tho.. they look hotter that way.. like all the other celebrities.
 
i like to jog cause it helps me burn fat and its not so difficult to do on a daily basis but i dont know if it will make my legs (specially the back of my ankle to knee section- sorry dont know what its called) too muscular. i dont want my legs to look like alessandra ambrosios....shes hot and all but i think it doesnt look that feminine. i just want them to be strong and define but not that much.

I really don`t like the legs in that picture,maybe it`s not a good one because usually VS models have great legs.
just want them to be strong and define but not that much.
Same here,I`m afraid I`ll make them too muscular or thick.
No -ankle size is determined genetically by the length of your achilles tendon. I mean if you were seriously overweight and lost the weight you might look a little slimmer, but otherwise there's nothing you can do if you've got cankles. Just avoid shoes with ankle straps.
Too bad.
never heard about ankles being a problem, thats new to me
They`re not a problem I have normal ankles,I just want them to be well shaped.I thought there might be an exercise that might target that area.

Do I actually get those legs (like on the pic) when I jog every day??
 
My legs have become Overly toned. I didn't even go to the gym or try to tone them but From standing around 35 hours a week and having to walk up stairs everyday.

Whats the best method to ease tension in them? because now i have muscles just about poking out of my legs.
 
Hi there girls! Just want to share my progress in my legs:

I've been going to the gym (every day) for two months right now, started doing 45min a day, or not forcing me so much to don't feel a lot of pain, and
then increase the number of exercises and the time I spent at the gym. Right now I can spend there 2h a day (gym + swimming) and I feel so so so good.

My legs have been a problem for me forever, I've got a right upper body but my legs have always look fatter and bigger! Now with the exercise I do, they're going on and making me happy! :lol: I'm still going to the gym and working out hard to reach my intentions (don't know if it's the right word).

So don't get bored of the gym, and of course, don't get frustrated. Big things come little by little... You don't have to force you! You just have to spend the right time there, and things would come. :flower:

Now I'd like to have some help... I usually spend 1h30 at the gym, but still don't know how to improve that time. I mean, I do threadmill, elliptical and stationary bike, but would like to know in which order work out on them, or how many time. Or maybe if you could tell me how to improve in my running (threadmill). That would be so kind. :flower:

My legs are terrible.
I have this HUGE birthmark thing all over the side of my leg and it is a very unpleasant sight. I have stretchmarks everywhere and dark knees!

^I have strechmarks on my knees because I grew very fast in only a few months, but they don't bother me that much ( in fact I didn't notice them until my friend asked me why I had white stripes on my knee).
When I was about 13/14 my knees used to be very dark so I started peeling them with lemons and it vanished within a few weeks, maybe you could try that :flower:
