love mixing the pictures using different layer modes[multiply, overlay, pin light, screen etc] in photoshop, it changes the picture's looks easy, so much fun:flower:

thanks adorefairth!

i photocopied the image of the girl (twiggy) and filled it in w/ colored pencil. then i used fabric and a piece a straw hat (rainbow) and pasted them on top magazine clippings and photographs. finally, i scanned it into photoshop and played around w/ the composition and levels.

this was originally part of an inspiration board for a fashion course i took. the theme was summer camp/ nostalgia :D

that is unbelievable...how creative...!!..:woot:

really, that is quite mesmerizing....
i cant believe people can do this sort of thing simply from their own initiative!.....

i am not so gifted in that sense....

thankyou for sharing that....
how do you scan it...with a regular scanner?.....doesnt the texture make it difficult?...

ok, i corrected the coloring. :D

you're being really nice! actually, i had to bulk up my portfolio so i redid some of my old projects. :innocent: i wish i was usually so motivated!

yeah, i used a regular old scanner...and the texture wasn't a problem. collages are fun... you should give it a try. :flower:

here's one i just did. i love collages

i just might try it....:woot:

i used to be so creative......i guess i've lost that, as time goes on....i'm not as experimental.....i don't get in there and get my hands dirty the way i used to with all kinds of crazy materials and textures...

now it intimidates me!....i dont know where to begin...
and i'm usually too concerned with the final product, and whether or not it will be anything presentable, to allow myself to be immersed in the process.....

thats one thing i think children are so good at.....ignoring the pressure of a final product and just being so creative and innovative with the process...
i wish i could regain that!...

thankyou for the inspiration....really....

you should definitely try it.
i collage a lot actually and it gives me a lot of ideas and it's a lot of fun.

one I just made (because I was, too, very inspired by the last few!:woot:)
