Emma Watson: The New Face of Chanel

Aside from starring in the super successful Harry Potter films, actress Emma Watson has scored herself a contract to be the new face of French fashion house, Chanel.

Emma, who is only 17 years old, will reportedly get around $4 million for the lucrative contract, reports British newspaper the Daily Express.

While doing her PR rounds around the world for the latest installment of "Harry Potter" Watson showed up on the red carpet wearing a different Chanel dress each time. Must be nice right? I have a feeling we're going to be seeing A LOT more of this teen queen.

Emma wears Chanel A LOT, so I'm not surprised by this at all. And I also don't think this is a bad decision. She'll bring a lot of youth to the brand, and I think it'll be fun, as long as it's classy and not trashy a-la Dooney & Bourke.

Probably handbags -- at least according to the trend, the handbags line has been more consistently showcased by celebrities. This will be interesting!
