i saw on song kyung ah's website that she shot a worldwide guess campaign for aw07-8 with a blonde model i didn't recognise

The blonde's Elsa Hosk. The ad to the right is from SS07, but it was mentioned before that she's repeating, so that seems right. I think it's probably Guess Jeans or something, though..

Miu Miu sounds very disappointing.

According to Conde Nast UK, the August issue of UK Vogue will be on sale on [FONT=Tahoma, Arial, Helvetica]09/07/2007, though I imagine subscription copies will arrive the Thurs/Fri before that Monday release date. UK Vanity Fair is supposed to come out on 06/07/2007, while Tatler is supposed to appear on 12/07/2007. So they say.

New news from wwd.com today:

"Karl Lagerfeld wants to make a fairy tale out of Fendi's new fragrance. In Rome on Monday at a party to fete the launch of the new scent Palazzo, the designer unveiled a book with the same name. Featuring a series of photos by Lagerfeld, the hardback — scripted by Amanda Harlech — tells the story of modern Roman princess Allegra, played by model Raquel Zimmermann, in a love triangle with American fiancée Burt (model Brad Kroenig) and Italian ex-flame Bartolomeo (model Jake Davis). Lagerfeld shot the book's images in the 14th-century Palazzo Taverna in January, where he also captured Zimmermann for the advertising campaign. "It was a lot of fun and all of the models really got into their characters by the end," said Lagerfeld just before 100 guests arrived for an exhibition of the photos and dinner in Palazzo Fendi. "Palazzo" will be sold in several independent bookstores, including Colette in Paris."

A match made in heaven! I'm sure this will be perfect. Though Inez & Vinoodh could have been better, I really like the Lori Goldstein part. I'm a big fan. Did she style the show, too?

Miu Miu doesn't sound very promising. I liked the s/s campaign - it turned out ok in the end - but I was expecting something completely different for this collection.
