Hate those Americana Manhasset ads.
Lily and the male model (who is Mihaly Sepreny) have no chemistry at ALL. And way too much photoshop! Lily's face looks unreal.
Sasha and Taylor's ads last season were much better than this.

if you are 5 years old she might be your grandma...I wonder how you will feel when i call you a grandpa when you are 44 and in the peak of your strenght, sounds kinda insulting, don't you think!
Linda is the best model ever and none of the new generation can be any better than her, NEVER!!!
so she is the perfect choice for everything!

that's just my opinion, the fact that you don't like what I think is not gonna change what i believe... I have no doubt about the things she did in the past as a model..
BTW John Galliano is not a good campaign

Linda looks like a man. the ones with Mariacarla were MUCH better and were quite perfect for the clothing. she just puts her botoxed face up to the light and that's it. booooriiiiiing

Is anyone else here tired of the hate and the model bashing? The absurdity of some of these comments is enough to drive me away from this forum all together. This place is starting to resemble a childrens' playground.

The younger generation is the lifeblood of the industry and it's a joy to watch the success stories. It's really tough to break into this industry I get great joy watching the models, like Raquel, become successful and grow. I'll never get the older fans who refuse to get out of the 80s and 90s and continually bash the younger girls. And saying they all don't have any talent is utterly ridiculous. I am in awe when I see girls like Edita and Iris in front of the camera.

The jealousy over older models getting campaigns over younger models is silly. It's a very different market today. And it's not that many campaigns. In the future, it will be another set of models hired to appeal to that segment (I can see Daria & a few others taking over these roles) and they will likely get bashed by yet a new generation of fans only because they look too old or admit to using botox.

Linda gets a few covers and a few campaigns every year, it's nothing new. She was never the most beautiful (like Christy), and she was never the most popular (like Kate) but she's always been an extraordinarily good model. She's looking older and can't possibly do things that a 15-year old model can do but I find it fascinating to watch a model continuously work at this level past 30. So can I please enjoy it without people directing their friends to Linda's Galliano campaign thread for the purpose of thrashing it because she "stole another campaign from Sasha"?

And then there's the ongoing Russians vs. the Brazilians and the subtle "my country's models are better than yours" crap.

As long as this bashing and hate continues, fashion outsiders are never going to respect models and Hollywood actors/actresses will continue to dominate territory that once belonged to fashion. We should be on the same team.

Seriously, is it possible to get an admin to issue a statement to put an end to madness?
