F/W 09.10 Ad Campaigns (please read post #1 before posting)

Iris definately has the Givenchy look, she has such a severe face, its very masculine. ALthough I dont really like her, she does suit the Givenchy image, but she's gonna actually look like a man standing next to Adriana.

As for Valentino I couldnt care less. The collection was disastrous and Iris will probably make it worse

OMG! iris got givenchy!!!! i never thought of that. oh my god, i'm happy that she got it!!! she suits givenchy well. i mean, with features like that, who wouldn't tap a model like her? so happy for iris! as for valentino, i don't need to say anything 'cause i didn't like the collection but it's great also that she got it too.

For me Valentino has lost all respectability sos I couldn't care less who was in the campaign, but Iris is a surprise. Event though I like her I can't say I want to see her for Givenchy. Plus I was hoping Catherine would be in it - in my dreams I guess.

The worst collection I have ever seen and the worst model I've ever seen...I guess Valentino campaign will be something epical and magical
And I can honestly see someother model for Givenchy ads like Magdalena,MCB,Karen Elson

Well Daria once was in a Valentino campaign, and Iris looks a lot like Daria sometimes, so I can see it working...

Anything Iris turns any picture she takes into gold so I'm no worried! So glad she'll be doing Givenchy!

So it's Adriana Lima, Simon Nessman, Iris Strubegger, Ranya Mordanova and Maria Carla for Givenchy? No lakshmi *cries* Assuming they're using only four girls again.

^I don't think Maria Carla is confirmed, but she is bound to be there, a bit of an odd bunch imo. I guess Ranya could fill Lakshmi's place as she looks a little middle eastern, I was so looking forward to Givenchy, but it sounds like it's going to be crap based on the choice of models imo.

I find it funny that it's mostly male posters that don't like iris....

Anyway I love her look and it will be interesting to see how it comes out. At least its not an obvious/predictable choice meaning a boring ad.
