F/W 09.10 Ad Campaigns (please read post #1 before posting)

I'm very excited by the prospect of a new V&R fragrance campaign with Raquel.

Love the Pennyblack shot.

Raquel has been nailing everything this season!! Lucky b*tch

So far I'm pretty underwhelmed by this season's campaigns I have to say...but a lot remains to be seen...

I agree. Nothing really has blown me away yet. Nothing got me really excited. Calvin Klein Collection was a nice suprise and Meisels take on Cavalli's aestethic looks promising but so far no profound excitement in general.

Well, i think Dolce & Gabbanna was suprisingly really good, and as far as "the rest" of the campaigns, we've only seen previews.

^You're very right so I have high hopes for the campaigns that haven't been released yet.

Somebody emailed me the 'actual' LV campaign.
LOL, they just used the editorial from W Magazine..
But nice try though. Haha..

^ I totally agree with you on that.. I'm a fan of her music but last season's campaign was not that promising..

Scarlett in the Spring 07 ad was not that great too, but her Fall campaign was loads better.
I hope that also goes for Madonna..

Look at how tall Karlie is. Even without the shoes she's very tall.

That would be a great campaign

Scarlett isnt good at anything in my opinion. She's just a "pretty face"

Viktor & Rolf fragance: Model: Raquel Zimmermann; Ph: ?; source: terra.com.br [ThiagoMello]

:buzz: :buzz: It's probably by Inez & Vinoodh, but not sure.

More info via cosmeticnews :flower:

French beauty giant L’Oréal has unveiled its second women’s fragrance under the Dutch fashion designers Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren’s Viktor & Rolf license. Eau Mega comes four years after the 2005 launch of the duo’s first fragrance, Flowerbomb and three years after the 2006 men’s fragrance Antidote. “Flowerbomb is sensuous, Eau Mega has an extravagant freshness,” Rolf Snoeren tells CosmeticNews. Created by Oliver Polge and Carlos Benaim of IFF the green floral juice was built around natural ingredients, including violet leaf, basil and jasmine, with the addition of a pear note.

The clear glass flacon, which holds the pale yellow juice, is equipped with a built in an oversized atomizer with a patent pending, dubbed the Megamizer. The metal squeeze spray applicator was designed by US-based Baron and Baron.

“[Eau Mega will have the] same positioning as Flowerbomb. It will be distributed on the same sales network and aim to be in the top five [women’s fragrances sold] in those existent doors,” Viktor & Rolf international managing director Ladan Lari tells CosmeticNews, adding that despite the difference between the two scents, Eau Mega has the same humor-based “Viktor & Rolf twist” as Flowerbomb.

Retailing for €52 (30ml); €72 (50ml) and €90 (75ml), Eau Mega will roll out to the brand’s 4,500 doors internationally from October. The launch will be supported by print and internet advertising. The visual, shot by photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, features model Raquel Zimmermann as a super heroine flying over a cityscape.

Thansk for the additional info.
The concept for the ad sounds interesting, but I prefer a more natural looking shot, like I&V have done for Narcisso Rodriguez.
