F/W 09.10 Ad Campaigns (please read post #1 before posting)

Sigrid for Dior? I think I'd cry if she got it. I still think Stam got it.
I'd love to see Maryna for John G. She did open the Fall show, so there is a possibility.

Oh right I forgot about that one! That was a pleasant surprise back then! Esp Kasia appearing in it. Let me rephrase my wish them: someone new to the Dior ad family. Like Tanya D, Georgina, Irina K or whoever. Someone John obviously adores for his shows but never booked for a campaign.

Gemma has never been in a mainline ad, only in the eyewear ads. If I am not mistaken, a full campaign was shot with Gemma, Lindsay Ellingson and another model (I believe the talk was Lily Cole?) for S/S 05, but at some point the campaign was scratched and Riley Keough ended up in it. Gemma and Lindsay ended up doing eyewear only.

Karmen gets quite a few campaigns even if they aren't the biggest ones. Celine, Derek Lam, and Jill Stuart this season. She's kind of boring to me, but I guess she has a versatile look. And a good agent

Methinks it could be:

1. Gisele [let's hope not, please]. She got the last ads and got Versace this season, and is a supermodel and blah blah.
2. Sigrid. She gets some editorial work now and she is pop, the newcomer of the moment, beloved of all.
3. Maryna [black horse]. She opened Galliano's show, she is great at eds, and John loves her.
4. Lily D. She closed Dior's show, she has the face, she made many campaigns already and everybody loves her. Besides, she is very well and estabilished and she missed the couture shows - that could be a hint.

I know that Michaela opened the show, but Michaela don't does much print work

Michelle Westgeest is also a Dior favourite. Though I can't imagine her scoring the Dior campaign.

I mean, she was at Dior almost always.

When she was asked at Berlin Fashion Week which Couture shows she would do she said she had no idea but she's sure she will do Christian Dior and Chanel but she did more and unless someone at Dior told her they like her a lot she doesn't have a reason to be sure about being casted from what we know of.

Just a really weird thought but good enough to be thrown in I would say.

Somehow I think it's another supermodel. Herzigova usually works a lot and I haven't seen her around that much.

Do you have any real reason to believe Lily got Dior or do you just get a feeling. And I don't think Toni knowing she was doing Dior means anything, she knew she was doing Chanel, but she didn't get that campaign. I really, really hope Sigrid didn't get it, that would be so wrong.

Still hoping for Maryna for John Galliano, though her career appears to be sliding towards the commercial market. That's just the impression I get. He does seem to be keen on her and she opened FW0910 show, so.......

I hope not at least i dont think so after that Numero Korea cover and amazing editorial..I hope she gets Dior or Galliano

I don't think opening/closing a show is necessarily relevant when starring in a campaign. Stam was in 2 Dior campaigns and didn't open or close either seasons shows.

Reasons.

1. Galliano loves Lily. Lily was put at almost all shows from him.
2. Lily has a great curriculum at ad campaigns. She made many famous brands.
3. She missed couture shows. That's my strongesr reson of why. Lily generally does couture shows, check out her portfolios.
4. She is estabilished.
5. She closed Dior.

Camapaigns were photographed subsequent to Fall Winter Shows. All major camapgins were photographed like 2-4 months ago.
