^I think Meisel has a very large say in casting the campaign. For instance last season Viktoria was featured in the ads but never did a Prada show. And he even sent Freja from a campaign shoot and replaced her for Snejana, who had n ot yet set foot on a Prada runway either.

^He has never worked with her since then, to the best of my knowledge. He's done this with a few models in the past. Apparently to Inguna with the Dolce & Gabbana campaign as well.

from what i heard, Meisel usually puts an option for a girl and then Marsh and Miuccia have to confirm it (or not). as with any blue chip campaign, Prada castings are continuous back-and-forths of potential girls.
