I've never seen that campaign shooted by Meisel, I think Testino's work was good...
the latest campaigns are just boring, I remember Spring 2007 was so good! I loved it!
But for me Meisel is the best, no one like him! his ideas are just crazy but at the same
time are wonderful!

I do agree with style_expert. Versace is not relevant at all right now, the collections they show are pointless and the campaigns are absolutely dull. Besides there’s no point of talking about money since the brand has been going through a perennial crisis for more than a decade. Definitely it’s not Gucci, which is also an awful brand but at least ridiculously profitable. Anyway, as someone said before, what is difficult is to point out what brands are interesting…

I also think Meisel is the best, but sometimes (lately really often) he is not on the right track.

TI said that the Versace cast was Top 50 forces with newly breaking stars.

Blah, the best Versace campaign I've seen in years was the MG one with Eugenia, Isabeli, Fernanda, Caroline, etc.

Followed by the Isabeli/Natalia combo recently.

I don't understand why they don't go back to that concept. If this trend of sexy models is returning you'd think Versace would be the first to jump on that bandwagon. Imagine: Isabeli, Ana BB, Adriana, Alessandra. Too much hotness for one campaign haha

Of course Versace is a very well-known brand and it's understandable that people may want to know who will star the campaign, I just mean Versace is not on its best moment (actually on one of its worst ones). And the same with Gucci, it's also a very famous brand but it has nothing to offer, at least to me.

Wasn't it said that there were 5 girls? I think that increases the likelihood that the girls from the show will be there, the whole casting for this season (and last season's) show was very young, I hope the camapign doesn't reflect that. I'd prefer it if they went back to Supermodels...

I dont know if its been mentioned but Evan Rachel Wood is starring in the new campaign for Gucci's new perfume. Its called Guilty I think and it features a male model too.

That sounds great! I love Evan!
