Ahhh, I read so much when I was a kid & growing up...

Loved the Sweet Valley High series to death, and later advanced to Sweet Valley University  I read pretty much the entire Goosebumps collection of books, and I also love love loved Enid Blyton's the Faraway Tree!

^Me too. I loved Sweet Valley High, but before those books I think I read the entire Babysitters Club series, and before that, all of the Ramona books. My dad, when I first started the Ramona books, would not let me leave my room until I had finished so many chapters...from then on all I wanted to do was read!

I loved anything by Astrid Lindgren, especially Emil of Lönneberga and The Six Bullerby Children :)

babar
where the wild things are
little red riding hood
hansel & gretel
the tale of peter rabbit(my absolute favourite when i was round 4 or 5)
winnie the pooh
peter pan

Enid Blyton's The Famous Five. I loved all their adventures but also those amazing descriptions of their huge meals and beautiful picnics on the beaches.

probably all of the Spot's and Topsy+Tim's books ^_^

My favorite author was Roald Dahl, and i basically read and loved everything by him. "The Twits" was a favorite, haha. Loved that. And "George's Marvellous Medicine".

I also loved going to the library and reading books about Ludde.

I had tons of favorites, but the one that sticks out the most for me today is The Giving Tree...broke my little 7 year old heart!

I loved Flowers For Algernon when I was younger.
& practically read Maltida from Roald Dahl over and over.

Also, I think I read most of the Junie. B Jones series when I was younger too.
