Does anyone here have the petrol spy or satchel? I'm considering getting the petrol satchel but I'm afraid that the color might fade later. Has anyone's petrol fade yet? I also saw the white satchel and that one is to die for! It's so beautiful and pure white but I would be so afraid to use it because it might get dirty fast.

I have the Petrol Hobo and the color is fading on the side that faces my body. However, when I apply AG onto those areas the original color returns. Hope this helps!

Yes, I saw the petrol in person and loveeeeeeee the color. The SA was really nice and charming. He almost woo me into buying the petrol but I ran to the LV store and picked up a bag from there instead. They have 1 petrol outside and 2 petrol in the back. If you get one, post pictures so I can drool over it.

I've got a petrol regular spy and I havent experinced any colour fading. However in general I prefer the regular spy design than the satchel simple because the design of the regular spy is attractive and suits the distressing leather...and I saw a petrol satchel on a girl who passed me by while i was carrying my spy bag regular..( very akward moment, we both had this suprise look on ourseleves) I would have not known it was a satchel until she was actually staring at me and kinda posed her bag so i would noticed that she has the same bag...it depends r u a big bag person or not? do u have blue bags in ur wardrobe? do u have any white bags? also white can get easily dirty...

I placed an order for my sister at Fendi Uk for a chocolate spy bag and we were asking about the colours avaliable, they dont do any more special orders for previous seasons, i quote "sold out" i then explained that they did special orders before they said we stopped we have new collection...I find it a bit odd because in the US they are still getting previous colours..

I have the Petrol Hobo and the color seems to rub off easily on the side that faces my body. The color rubs off every time I use it. I fix this by applying AG after each use to the faded spots and it seems to do a pretty good job of replenishing the color.

Keya - sorry for the delay in posting pics of my Petrol Hobo. Things are nuts around home right now. Hopefully I will do so this weekend, with the 3 day holiday and all. Are you still contemplating on getting a Spy hobo?

FYI to anyone looking for a Petrol Spy: I just sent mine back to eLuxury (it was a hard decision to make but my credit card thanks me for it ). They should receive it by Tuesday and will process the return within 48 to 72 hours. So if you are looking for this, please keep you eyes open for the bag on ELX towards the end of next week. Fendi DFS Singapore on Scotts Rd. had 2 Honey and 1 White Spy available one day ago.

The Honey colour looks so much more attractive IRL!!

I posted something while the forums were being crazy, so my post is somewhere lost in the 268 pages of this thread! What I said was, I'm glad that the Honey color looks more attractive in real life! I'm thinking of getting one, but I was a little worried about it being too bright and scary and orange. But this color should go well with a lot of things, right?

Yes, I saw the petrol satchel in person. I absolutely LOVE that color!!! The leather is so soft and pebbly. The Fendi SA was really nice and super charming. He almost "woo" me into buying the petrol right then and there. But I ended up running to LV and got my first LV instead. I still want the petrol though... Please get it and post pictures to satisfy my craving.

Oh, they have 1 petrol satchel outside and 2 more at the back when U was there last weekend.

My posts are in page 162, I had this long post to leoan about the petrol bag...I was saying that the colour is very rich and beautiful and that i am more of the regular size fan type of thing...the satchel looks great in neutral tones ( my mother got one in chocolate) and it looks great...now my sister is craving for a regular size chocolate spy!! If i had to choose between a satchel and a regular it would be a regular spy defintely...
in terms of colours, the white seems very tempting...but bare in mind even if u wont have to deal with the fading colours u will still have to deal with the white getting dirty easily...

I have a question...(very embarssed to ask) now that the whole fading issue is out again..(sorry i know it has been an exhausting question) the whole spray thing..I've been having mixed feelings about it...but would like my spy to always remain with its nice rich colour...any recommendations to which type of protection i should use and how should i put it on it? thanks again

Does this look like a real fendi bag to you guys? it was from ebay, for only $50 australian. Which i thought was really cheap for a fendi spy! The leather detail looks a little different to me? im not sure though. :think:
