I have a cognac satchel and although I love it, I don't want it to fade. If all these posts were made one month ago, I could have bought the Chanel classic flap bag. I am kicking myself now.

ilovepositano said:i don't think yours will discolor as much. alot of the discoloration is due to the secret compartment rubbing against the front of the bag, which i don't think the satchel has. second, if it is a recent bag, you would have shinier leather that is less prone to distressing.
also, it is a hard thing to bring up unless a cognac owner complains about it, which no one was.

The Honey colour looks so much more attractive IRL!!
Leona,Leona said:Does anyone here have the petrol spy or satchel? I'm considering getting the petrol satchel but I'm afraid that the color might fade later. Has anyone's petrol fade yet? I also saw the white satchel and that one is to die for! It's so beautiful and pure white but I would be so afraid to use it because it might get dirty fast.
