Fendi Spy Bag

Do they ship to Norway??

And I really wanted to pick it up...
Because I hate to pay so much in taxes when it arrives to Norway...
When I got my Balenciaga shipped from N.Y., I had to pay $262 in taxes

Hi ,
I live in Vegas and I've met Darko. He's the one that told me cognac was discontinued and sold out all over the world. I walked into HIS boutique 2 weeks later and they had 5 cognac bags. He almost pi$$ed himself when he saw me looking at one.

:( I just checked and the website they currently only ship to the US. If you have a friend in the US, perhaps you have them ship the bag to him/her and your friend can give it to you when you arrive into the US.

So maybe filippa should get a second opinion from a different SA instead of Darko. I hope he's not a manager there.

Oh he is.......and he doesn't know anything about his merchandise. Matter of fact, he told me cognac was honey. I'm so glad I learned about the spy on here prior to walking into his boutique.

Thanks for the fast reply kelsbags and shopping247 :flower:

How can Darko be the shop manager if he treats his customers this way??
Right now, I don't know if I want to buy a bag in his store

Maybe I shall try to call them... Maybe I can talk to another SA? Who do you recommend kelsbags?

And if I don't get a bag in Vegas... Were can I find one in L.A.??

Filippa,
He's very arrogant!! My husband couldn't stand him!!!! Believe me, my husband said the same thing....you're not buying a bag from him. Unfortunately, that Fendi has the best selection in Vegas. I was desperate, so I went back and he wasn't there!! :D Jessica is so sweet!! Vanessa is nice, too. I'd ask for either of them, but Jessica seems to know the most when it comes to the bags.

Thanks, kelsbags!
I will try to call them, and ask for Jessica or Vanessa.
I hope they can hold a bag for me... If I pay for the bag now, and just pick it up when I get there. What do you think?

If you pay for it, I dont think they'll have any problem holding it for you for a few days :)

I think you should be able to pay and pick up. Let us know how everything goes when you talk to other SAs! (I can't believe Darko is a manager! Good to know for future reference....)

In LA you can go to Beverly Hills or you can try South Coast Plaza (Sahar is really sweet).

Thanks for all the help! :flower:
I will let you guys know, when I have talked to them...

I just got an e-mail from Bellagio in Vegas...
Darko is the store manager there too

wow, that is amazing. how can such an $&#$* be a manager not only at one fendi but TWO???

unfortunately i have found that the dumbest s.a.'s are often the meanest ones-- they totally use their attitude to cover up their ineptitude.

now that i have a silver/gold spy on its way to me, can someone w/ the fortuny leather tell me how it feels and your experience w/ it? i never carefully looked at the hologram but it seemed to feel like taffeta to me?

i actually owned the hologram spy and hobo for less than 24 hours before returning them back (just want my thing but very beautiful bags). the leather was laser cut so the turquoise showed depending how the bag folded. the metallic part of the leathe was nice and it didn't seem like it was going to rub off easily, if at all. contrary to the juicy silver metallic hobo that i also owned less than 24 hrs, where the leather was horrible - the metalics was rubbing off whereever it hit my body.

the texture of the leather is hard to describe... a bit matte and not completely shiny/reflective. overall the bag was soft and squishy.

I dont think this one is lazer cut like the hologram, but it's good to hear that the metallic didn't look like it was going to rub off easily.

At first I wasn't sure if I'm going to be able to get this bag but I'm asking for it for my birthday. I'm so exctied  I think I'm getting too many bags though, need to cool down when f/w comes around. I dont get to wear each as much as I'd like to.

OMG! I can't believe he's the manager there, too. He's such a freak. He really doesn't have a clue. Actually most of the SA's at the Forum Shops are nice. Jessica is just super nice and knowledgeable. Let us know how you make out, filippa.

That monogram Spy from personalshoppers looks so cheap and tacky. I can't see anyone pulling it off!

Keya, your story is funny. :) And congrats on your Spy and happy birthday! What color Spy did you get?

petrol. not very surprising, really, since it's my mom's favourite color and she picked it out :p

Just wanted some oppinions... I have the cognac Spy and have yet to carry it. I love the color, but have some concerns about the fading mentioned on this thread- I think I would like the vintage look, but I am not sure. I hate to pay so much for the bag then have it look like it's defective. Anyway, I was condsidering trading it for the honey color. The pic on Saks.com liiks very orange, but the pic just posted recently on here looks like a great color! Which do you all prefer, and which do you think could be worn with more? TIA!:D
