Btw, I thought the Tokyo Squirrel Spys were in velvet? For both the black and the bordeaux ones...hmmmm...

Yes, I saw the petrol satchel in person. I absolutely LOVE that color!!! The leather is so soft and pebbly. The Fendi SA was really nice and super charming. He almost "woo" me into buying the petrol right then and there. But I ended up running to LV and got my first LV instead. I still want the petrol though... Please get it and post pictures to satisfy my craving.

Oh, they have 1 petrol satchel outside and 2 more at the back when U was there last weekend.

Keya - here's my Petrol Spy Hobo. I actually have a favorite side - the more textured side. The smoother side always faces my body and often the color gets a bit rubbed off. I use AG to condition the faded spots and the color always returns. It's one of my favorite shoulder bags that I love using for work. Since I am on a roll with photographing purses... here's my Spy that I purchased in November that I have yet to use. I wanted to use it yesterday for the first time but it started to rain so I didn't want to risk damaging the bag. I haven't sprayed AG to this bag at all since I am not sure if it will damage the bag. There's some special coating on this bag to give it a gloss. I hope to use it this spring - I think the color is very versatile to be used year round. Does anyone else have this color combo Spy?

I agree that the textured side is prettier, I've always loved textured Spys.
I'm still determined to get a Spy, I've just put it on the backburner for a while since it's my b~day soon. I def. want a hobo as well as a regular Spy. Thanks again for the pics

Glad you like the pics Keya! I don't know if you saw my post a few days ago (when TSF was going haywire) but I stated that I just sent back the Petrol Spy back to eLux. They should receive it on Tuesday and my return should get processed within 72 hours. I imagine that eLux will repost that bag up for sale by the end of next week or so. If you are thinking about getting that bag, please keep an eye on eLux for it.

Strange, I can see the second set of pics for the Spy. Maybe if you try refreshing the page it should show up hopefully.

Baghag, thanks for the clarifcation on the Honey Spy. I definitely think I'm going to get it. I might order from Saks.com (even though I said I wouldn't anymore!) since they've got that SHOPFEB 10% off code! I figure, if the texturing is not nice, I can always return it and look for another. And congrats on your Spy as well! I remember you were wanting it for awhile. Can't wait to see pictures of it once it gets to you!

What an interesting combo of colors and pattern for a spy! Where did you see this spy at? Matching shoes are a bit of an overkill IMO.

Btw, it just occurred to me that I never mentioned on the thread before (perhaps it has been mentioned elsewhere in this thread...if so sorry for the repeat Fendi in Ala Moana sells their items at 10% cheaper than mainland. They just started selling at this discount to compete with their overseas Asia Fendis. That's where I purchased my Petrol Hobo. One of the sAs Cherie is very nice and helpful.
