Fendi Spy Bag

Guessgirl,
Karma for you (and hope it goes to helping you obtain the red patent B FENDI from NM)! I don't know how many times people have asked for all the styles w/pics, but that was as comprehensive as it gets! :flower:

Guessgirl - karma from me as well! The pics you posted are awesome and so helpful... thank you! :flower:

Guessgirl, you're a genius, thanks for all those pictures! :flowers:

Now, you have got me thinking of purchasing another Spy.....

does anyone know which shops are selling spys? i was thinking of going to selfridges, harrods, harvey nicks but do you think they'll have any or will they look at me funny and put me on a 3 month long waiting list? argh. lol.

All 3 stores you mentioned would have Spys at one time or another and available stock may vary from store to store. The SA who assists you may be quite vital in your ability to get a Spy. Some are more helpful, knowledgeable and more willing to go that extra mile to secure a bag for you.

Perhaps you can also try Fendi Sloane St. which is where I got my Spy over the phone and shipped to me in Asia. Ask for Margaret, the SA who assisted me and she was knowledgeable and helpful. You can call the stores in advance and enquire about the status. Some of the no.s are as follows:

Fendi SELFRIDGES: +44 207 3183082
Fendi SLOANE ST: +44 207 8386280

Good luck & enjoy your hunt! ^_^

....
hmm... this bag is gorgeous! When was this in the sydney store? (please say long ago).. otherwise I might have to run there and get it now...

I thought they only had one taupe/purple that had blue handles like that.. anyone correct me if I'm wrong?

Hi again girls and guys,(esp spy bag collectors)..

Tell me if I should get the TEAL/PETROL, the Taupe/Purple, the Cream with Black handles OR the COGNAC spy?

This will be my FIRST spy bag! ..and I already have balenciagas , chloe paddington (tan) and 2 chanels (hobo and tiny classic in lilac and black)

HELP ME MAKE THE BEST CHOICE with my new spy bag! =P

Thanks in advance!

LilyGirl and Waterfalls,
That Spy that's photographing as Taupe with Blue Handles is actually the Taupe/Purple... it's just different lighting and flashes sometimes makes them look blue!
I have the Taupe/Purple and it is beautiful, but sometimes I think I'd prefer it if the handles were closer to cobalt blue (like in that picture). The contrast would be sooo much better!

Waterfalls, OMG you will get so many differing opinions on which your first Spy should be! My first was the Taupe/Purple - a GREAT way to start! It goes with everything (even black) and is one of the few that truly looks 4-season.
Depends on who you ask, though. The Cognac is pretty fabulous, as is the Petrol. I would caution you to pass on the Cream White/Black, as the white has been known to yellow... and you MAY not want to carry it in the dead of winter, depending on where you are. GOOD LUCK and let us know which one you choose!

spycrazy - there are actually two variations of the taupe bag - one that is with purple handles like you and i have (that was my first spy waterfalls!) and one with blue handles, almost navy. i was in NM SF and saw the hobo version of that bag with the blue handles. i had my purple/taupe spy on me at that time so it wasn't a lighting effect.

i can see how some taupe/purple spies may appear bluish though if the photo is not color balanced right. the one that lilygirl posted is the blue version of the handles.

hope i didnt make this too confusing sounding. :)

Got my spy in the mail today with my paddington. The spy hobo arrived broken so I'm going to have to get it repaired or send it back, you can kind of see where the zipper pull is missing in the picture:cry:
