Yes it's beautiful! I do feel that the violet is more wearable though.. the lilac one looks like it should be placed in a glass cabinet - for display only!
And yesss the desirrrre. It does seem like one of the harder bags to find. But I should take guessgirl's advice and ask the Fendi store if they can order one in.BTW thanks for giving me the bryanboy link guessgirl! He's a pretty interesting character, shame to not have known about him before.

Yes Sue where have you been all this time!
Haha, no matter! I'm so glad you like them. Dont quit hanging at Chloe forums though - we still love our paddys don't we? Actually the only reason I ended up at TFS was because PF didn't have a Fendi Spy thread.
I own the regular spy, hobo, and satchel and I love all three sizes, each serving a different purpose for me. I like the small satchel for evenings out - the regular spy and hobo size for the day (hobo for evening too sometimes). I don't carry too much around with me so the satchel is a perfect size for me; regular spy always has lots of room left over (which is good since I don't want to fill it up and make it too puffy) and the hobo too. In fact, I think volume-wise the hobo and satchel are pretty much the same, just different shape is all. The satchel is purely hand-hold and can't be worn on the shoulders at all (unless you are built the size of a little kid).
