any info will be very helpful as i know nothing about it.. eg. measurements, lining, leather of bag, does it have 'feet' ? or what pockets are inside, etc..

it looks like the fendi magic canvas satchel...natural canvas with brown leather trim. measurements are 9 1/2"H x 19 7/10"W x 5 9/10"D don't know if there are any feet or what pockets are inside.

If anyone wants the gold-silver Spy, there is one at Barney's in Beverly Hills.

Was stunned to see it quietly gathering dust on a ledge above the stockroom, jammed in w/ a bunch of other bags and looking very nondescript and forlorn... Hope someone can rescue it!

chic_chick, the pleated spy is a fake, as you might know.
The handles, the shape and the pleats are all off.

As for the white spy, I don't think it's real too.

I bought my first spy today, a black one with braided handles at Dutch designer retailer shoebaloo (www.shoebaloo.com), for 1395 euros. I just noticed the handles are very hard and stiff. Is this normal? I mean, the bag is sooooo soft, how can the handles be this rough? And does anyone actually know how to get them smoother?

ehm...well, it's shoebaloo.nl actually, and yes, they sell authentic stuff, I've bought prada, chloe and other bags from them. How about the rought/hard handles? is that a problem? Are they supposed to be this stiff?

I have been waiting to buy this bag forever and need advice. The one pictured below has so many close up pictures and is very cheap but I can't tell if its real or not... what do you think?

I bought my fendi spy at shoebaloo in the Cornelis Schuitstraat store, they had just sold two chocolate ones with the zucca fabric exterior, and I bought the black leather one, there's still one left in the PC Hooftstraat store, chocolate with the zucca fabric outside. So yes, in Amsterdam. They cost between 1250-1395 euros, but there won't be any more, since they could only get their hands on those 4! Shoebaloo is an official retailer and doesn't sell fakes, all the famous Dutch actors and singers buy there.

About the handles though, mine are very hard, not as soft as I hoped. Is that normal, and can I do anything to soften them? All help is welcome!

I seem to recall someone mentioning this Spy having gone on sale. Pic from Saks.com. I bought the most adorable shoes with the same denim stripe, so now I'm considering the bag too ... Maybe in the baby Spy size? Saks.com isn't showing that it's on sale.
