Frances Bean Cobain vs Ali Lohan

wtf?? ali lohan was like 12, 13 when she said she wanted to be famous no matter what. i dont know many people who haven't said dumb things when they were younger. frances should just leave her alone. besides, she says ali's trying to get attention, how bout minding your own business and not writing an open letter on the internet for everyone to see? that's going to bring the negative attention frances apparently "doesn't want". and i can't remember the last thing ali has done to get attention. she's 15 years old, just leave her alone!
that being said, i'm not a fan of either of the girls, so ..

I would rather die a most painful death the be assoicated with the kind of careere your trying to make for your self.
Let's hope it doesn't come to that.

Courtney Love Quits Twitter with daughter Frances Bean Cobain

Just a few days after Kurt Cobain's daughter Frances Bean Twittered a tirade against actress Ali Lohan, Frances and her mother Courtney Love have apparently deleted their Twitter accounts. It comes as a shock to those who follow Love, who's notorious for her rapid-fire Tweet rants about topics spanning lawyers, mortgage fraud, advice on fixing FICO scores, alleged theft of couture and trust funds, hackers, Ryan Adams and Russell Brand.

"On the one hand, I don't know what to do with myself. The internet is a lonely, eerily quiet place without Courtney screaming about hackers and lawyers and whatever else," the anonymous brain behind CLTranslated on Twitter tells Spinner. "But on the other hand, I can't imagine she can stop herself from returning to the internet very, very soon. She'll be back."

For those who missed Frances Bean's open letter to Lohan, it's a scathing attack on the 15-year-old wannabe starlet, sister of Lindsay, after Frances observed Ali enjoying the VIP treatment at Fashion Week in Paris recently. "Your [sic] not entitled to anything simply because your sister has a recognizable name," blasted Cobain, 17. "Your idea of fame isn't fame. It's infamy. You want to be famous? Work your *** off and make decisions that could potentially catapult your career into a lasting one."

"You lack the talent, social understanding and credibility to be anything other then infamous," Frances wrote. "It will be the formality of fame that puts you on the covers of tabloids, while the public idly watches you plumit [sic] into the murky abyss shared with the likes of Spencer Pratt and Jon Gosselin who, I'm sure, will steal your money whilst there ... People like you, Ali Lohan, are rendering the world of true talent by attempting to make your entitled *** noticed."

But Bean wasn't finished. "You blatently [sic] don't care how your recognized, it's [sic] the objective to get famous and that is what makes you replaceable and a recycled idea," she continued. "Well, I'm [sic] ashamed to have to be grouped into the same category of person as you. I would rather die a most painful death than be assoicated [sic] with the kind of career [sic] you're trying to make for yourself [sic]."

Twitter speculation on the reason for the sudden departure ranges from outright hacking to a Lohan-supporter backlash against Frances Bean. Love's departure from Twitter comes just days after she Tweeted her mix of nerves and adoration after sharing the stage with Bono and Gavin Friday at New York's Carnegie Hall.

If Frances can't post on her twitter what she thinks about the nitwit that is Ali Lohan, then we shouldn't be posting anything negative about anyone-celebrity or not. We are all not minding our own businesses by posting on forums, comment sites, twitters, other people's social networking sites etc. She has every right to post what she thinks as we do.
Ali Lohan has been working since under the age of 10 with the mastermind of her disgusting parents to have a Lohan world takeover. Which, gratefully has not compiled the way they would want. Why is little Lohan still around with her famewhore sister if she's not seeking attention?

There is something really weird about all of this. I read Frances's twitter regularly and she is highly intelligent, she can certainly spell all the words that were misspelled in that rant.

I don't know :/

ROFL. Grammar/spelling.. I too wouldn't want a 'careere' like that but then again .. is it really as bad as shes making it out to be? Surely not..

^ i think she means the lack of integrity that comes with that type of socialite career

Has anyone from the Lohan family responded to this? I would find it highly unusual if they missed an opportunity to get publicity.

Hmm...that letter she wrote has some elements of her father's suicide note. So I certainly hope she doesn't wake up one day in a bad state, feeling like a fraud herself.

I think it's natural for Frances, being associated with Ali (by being a celeb spawn/sibling) to take offense at that. She is a teenager. But like her parents detested some of the current rock stars of their time, and like Francis detests Ali.....at the end of the day, they are all there, in part, for fame. The difference, of course, is that whereas Ali has little talent, Frances probably has some (I really don't know).

Ironically, Courtney and Lindsay seem to be a little similar in that they are both examples of women with raw power. Courtney is very well spoken, even at her most confused, and IMO brilliant in most regards. Lindsay, I don't really like the movies or much about what she does, but there is no denying the raw force and talent she has despite her relatives. It's there and it's vibrant, and it comes out in her pictures.

All in all it's ridiculous to discuss this, really. She's a teenager and she is talented, I hope she moves on and this can be forgotten...and I hope Courtney comes back to a strong internet

Frances is getting a free pass for being the daughter of a rock royalty. It's not that serious. She posted this rant on twitter what does she expect? Silence? Heck no this is the internet and the daughter of a dead rocker. I bet she's messed up in the head. Her mother is Courtney Love (no offense) need I say more?

This is such bs, I can't believe most people can't look past grammar and spelling errors and actually read what Frances is saying. I read and understood the whole thing without noticing those errors. Says something about the nitpickyness of those haters...

I wonder what they would do if asked to read a 17th century historical document...

That's a new one, people are haters for pointing out her bad grammar and spelling? Ooookkkk.

Well I don't think I'm a "hater" but as a history major I think it's ridiculous to compare a rant posted on twitter to a 17th century historical document. But I don't know that's my opinion..

I'd call those people haters, especially when they are insisting her letter doesn't have any basis just because it has those errors. Judging too harshly anyone?

I don't want be a smart *** and talk about comparing such writing to historical writing, but as I see it the two have similarities from my point of view. I am reading writings by John Smith and other 17th century explorers of North America, and his writing is riddled with misspelled words vs. the aristocratic writings of enlightenment authors. It is also likely John Smith did not have an academic background as he was foremost a soldier and explorer.

So that is my example of an important historical document that might or might not be up to par with Cobain's grammar. BTW I am not saying Cobain's letter is an important historical document! Just saying grammar doesn't measure up with the actual message. Which in this case is a vent.

ok, i agree that she has the right to post what she thinks. but she's courtney love's daughter, something like this is obviously going to get negative attention.
and just bc lindsay's infamous, ali can't hang out w her sister? i was just saying that i can't remember the last time she tried to stir up controversy by talking w newspapers or magazines.
